Chapter 6: The Search for the Avalon's

Tori

Lian and I heard a scream as we saw an evil presence taking Sakura and Syaoran.

"Sakura! " I yelled, but as the magic disappears, Lian said, "Mom, Dad!"

They were gone as I groan in pain . Lian helps me up as she asks, "Are you ok, Tori?"

Kiro flew down as he asks, "What is going on? Wait, did something happened?"

Lian said, "I don't understand, what was that thing?!? And why did it kidnap my parents?"

I ask her, "How should I know? You're the CardCaptor in the family. I don't have my powers anymore, remember?" 

Lian still in shock, as I sigh, "Look, we'll find them, I believe in you, Night Captor." 

As hearing the comfort of my words, she said, "You're right. " 

Lian

I went to school the next morning, still thinking about my parents. Where did they go? Who's magic is held responsible for invading my home?

As I was lost in thought, Ki looks at me, "Hey, Lian. Is something wrong?" 

I knew that I can tell him anything, specially when I need advice of being a CardCaptor, but this is very advanced magic. 

"Ki, something happened last night at my house." I said, bitterly as the young CardCaptor looks at me, strangely.

I told him what happened as Ki said, "I never heard anything like that before. It must be an advanced magic, more powerful than the Sakura Clow Cards, Lian." 

I groan, "I could've stop it from happening! I was so afraid, afraid of letting my parents know the truth . 

Oh, Ki, what I'm going to do?"

Tori sheepishly said, "I do know one person who can help us solve this mystery.. Although, I know you guys are still looking for the Sakura Clow Cards, I hoping he isn't too busy." 

We exchanged looks, "Tori, what you talking about?"

We went to an familiar house, it was Julian's!

Johnny opens the door with a shock expression , "L-Lian, Ki, Tori! What brings you guys here?"

I don't like the idea of bringing Julian or Johnny into magic, but how does Julian know about being a CardCaptor?

Ki asks, "Look, is your dad home, it's urgent matter we speak to him. " 

"Uh, Dad? You have visitors! " 

Julian appears as Tori said, "We need to talk." 

His eyes stare directly at me as he said, "Johnny, I think it's time you learn the truth. All of you, come in." 

Johnny, Ki, and I exchanged looks at one other as we went inside the house and I saw a picture of my parents, Julian, Madison, smiling . 

"You seemed like your parents every day, Lian. More than I can say." Julian said, as we sat down in the living room. 

"Julian, what you know about the Sakura Clow Cards?" Ki asks as Johnny repeats, "Sakura Clow Cards?"

Tori said, "I think it's time to let Yue talk about this. " 

"Yue?" We repeated , as Julian transforms into another person, an angel! 

"D-Dad?" Johnny exclaimed with shock, seeing this form for the first time. 

Yue said, "It's all right, Johnny. Your father is my borrowed form." 

I blink in surprise, as Kiro pops out of my bag, "It's been a while, Yue." 

"Kiro Borrows. I'm surprised that you're back from your hibernation." 

I hold up my arms, "Wait a second! I'm so overwhelmed with all of this, first I found the Sakura Clow Book and the Sakura Clow Cards hidden in the family basement,  learn that my parents were CardCaptors, and now my closest friend and neighbor is a spirit Guardian?"

Ki touches my shoulder, "Lian, chill a bit. " 

Johnny

I really don't understand. What is CardCaptors? And why is Lian all freaked out about her family?

Yue said, "I am surprised that you actually found the Sakura Clow Book, Lian. It was the most top-secret of the Avalon family." 

Lian said, "I don't get it. Why did my parents hid all about magic and the Sakura Clow Book from me after all these years?" 

Ki concur, "Yeah, it doesn't make any logical sense, if Lian inherited magic, why didn't Syaoran and Sakura told her the truth from the start?"

Tori said, explaining, "It was because they didn't want their offspring to get involved with magic, or with being a CardCaptor. 

So, Sakura and Lee decided to hide the Clow Book, along with Kiro put in hibernation all these years." 

The whole room was reticent, as we grasp the hidden truth about Lian's family history.

"I never knew that. Still, I am mad that they didn't tell me the truth from the start. "

Yue asks, "Lian, I'm curious. How you know about your parents being CardCaptors in the first place?"

That was when Lian rubs her head, "Like I said earlier, I found the Sakura Clow Book. It summoned me somehow.

Then I um, accidentally open the book and I read the card, "Windy" , then all the Clow Cards flew out of the basement as the magic exploded on me.

Man, I remembered capturing it. It was really a challenge to say the least. It was also ... when Night Captor first appears."

I ask , "You mean the mysterious girl that only appears when the magic suddenly erupts, like the day before, in the aquarium?"

Lian pulls out something within her neck, as Yue said, "Sakura's Star necklace? I never thought I would see it again."

"I never thought about revealing it to anyone else besides Ki and Amanda. They were the first people who knew the secret I've kept as a CardCaptor.

With key with the Star bright,

Release the Staff and release your light!"

Magic circle appears surrounding her as she was transformed into a girl with a mask.

"You're-" I stutter as she nods, "Yeah, I'm her, I'm Night Captor."  

|Meanwhile... in an unknown building|

Sakura

Uh, where am I? I realize I was strapped down to a chair, unable to move, as if some powerful magic was restraining me. 

"Amazing that I have the greatest CardCaptors in my possession." A unknown voice said. 

"Who are you?" I ask, struggle to break the binds that hold me. 

"Oh, you want to know? I'm your worst nightmare." The face appears as I said, "No... it can't be. Asoka?" 

Asoka chuckles, "Yeah, I'm back and I will deal with your husband later. " 

"Where is Lee? Asoka, if you hurt him-" I snarled with anger, as she chuckles, "Your husband is unable to wield his magic , just like you are at the moment. 

I will destroy Night Captor and lure her into my trap. She's really something you'll never see coming." 

As she walks away, I said, "Lee and I don't even know who is Night Captor! Why you want to destroy her anyway?"

"It would surprise you , she's more like the person you hold dear." She replies.
