Chapter1

One day, there are two children happily playing in the playground named Ethan and Celine but, suddenly, the little girl slip while running and had a wound on her knee Celine doesn't want to stop crying so the little boy run towards his playmate's side, Ethan blew her wound and remove the dirt. Celine stopped crying and looked into the face of the boy.

Ethan: Please Celine, always take care of yourself, I'm not always here to protect you my princess. 

Celine: Okay I will..

Ethan: Aalis ako tomorrow morning and this is my last day here.

Celine: Can you please stay here? Wag mo ako iwan, I don't have any friends here, please Ethan?

Ethan: Sorry my princess but I promise I'll be back. Don't be sad Celine, tara let's play again!

The two started playing again but Celine can't hide the sadness on her lips. The time struck 7 pm so fast so they needed to go home and sleep, because tomorrow is Ethan's flight to New York, where his family wants him to be for his future. Ethan's father worked there for 5 years, so they chose to stay there for good. The next day, Ethan woke up early to give some cookies to Celine that were made by her mother. Ethan knocked in the gate of Mr. and Mrs. Garcia, but the only one who came is the mother of Celine.

Mrs. Garcia: Yes my dear what is it?

Ethan: I just want to give these cookies to Celine gawa po ng  mom ko before I leave.

Mrs. Garcia: Celine is still in her bedroom, sleeping. I will give this later to her when she wakes up, okay? God bless your trip Ethan, and tell your mother to visit here sometimes.

Ethan: Okay tita, I will. Thank you po!

A few hours later, Celine woke up and saw her mother sitting beside her. Her mother gave her the cookies from Ethan and said that Ethan already left. Celine's eyes are full of sadness because her playmate already left without personally saying goodbye. Her mother hugged her so tight and whispered.

Mrs. Garcia: Don't be sad my little girl, babalik din si Ethan, okay?

Celine: But mommy, when?

Mrs. Garcia: Soon baby, just wait.

Celine: Okay mommy but, please, while Ethan's not around can you be my playmate for a while?

Mrs. Garcia: Sure love! Let's play later, but first let's eat down stairs.

Mrs. Garcia prepared a delicious breakfast for her family. The sadness in Celine's face slowly fades away, because her mom always makes sure that Celine is happy even if Ethan's not around.
