Sasori knew that he wasn't as close to her as the others were but he would be damn to be the one that didn't do something. He went searching for him the hour he found out about shattered clay.
Within Konoha village, he had found him. Deidara was chained to wall. Beaten and bloody. He could tell he was barely trying to hold on to his life. He slammed his cheek softly to wake him up.
"Come on brat. We need to get you home." He was going to get him through and back to the base.
Kunai gazed his cheek. When he turned around three Anbu stood in his way. "Another cockroach. Maybe you can tell us where Sakura is."
He wasn't a puppet anymore but he still knew how to pull the strings.
