It was times like these that she had become confused but delighted. Everyone was out on a mission but Konan and Pein. When they were alone and day had turned into night, they had made it there duty to wish her goodnight.
"Then the frog leapt away into the sunset thinking he did his job but the three little baby birds knew better." Konan tucked her in while Pein was standing by the door watching.
"What happened next?"
"That is a story for next time, Sakura-chan."
She rubbed her eyes sleepily and dosed off to sleep.
They were both content with her presence.
"I wish this could last forever."
"If only it could." They both quietly left the room but once they did Sakura's eyes flew open and she turned to look at the door.
Frown adored her face.
