I either hate Valentine or like it, which of them doesn't matter to me. I don't celebrate it but to tell the truth, I'm a little envious watching couple happily dating with all the chocolates and flowers on their tables. Well, sometimes I thought of myself being lonely with no boyfriend to embrace, kiss, and be on dates. Tomorrow is their Valentine and I can feel already the love floating in the air. My friends told me to start mingling with boys in clubs, at parties that they hosted, or on the internet but I'm not obsessed to have one. The second reason is I'm so occupied with my working duties. I know that they were just helping me out for it's been two years since my last relationship ended.
"Okay Elise, if you don't like it, why not take a vacation somewhere far from here." I didn't think about it, Veronica's idea was great though I know I'll be going alone.
"Yeah, Veronica's right, just file a vacation leave at the office. It is a good chance for you to relax in a place you've never been."
"Sounds great guys, maybe it's time I will give myself a proper rest day."
I drive myself home after meeting my friends in the restaurant. They both have their partners, lucky for them. Sometimes I wish I could have one but thinking of it makes me so helpless. I dialed the number of a travel agency and got a reservation for a trip to Hawaii tomorrow via airplane.
"I think Hawaii suits me." I thought while preparing my luggage.

I woke up to my alarm, it was still 5:00 in the morning but I got off of the bed to get a shower. My flight will be at 8:15 A.M. It took me just an hour to prepare myself and went off directly to the airport. It is distressing to me seeing a lot of couples everywhere holding hands. I don't know why I keep on thinking about it. The announcer started to call the passengers for flight 304 going to Hawaii. I immediately grabbed my luggage and hopped on the plane. I can feel the excitement because it's my first time traveling abroad.
The plane arrived at exactly 11:20 A.M. As my tour guide instructed, I check in a resort called Waimanalo located near the eastern end of the island. The place is wonderful, so right to pamper me. I immediately wear my swimsuit and headed directly to the shoreline after my admission. The white sand seems perfect to me like a heart so pure. I watched the waves of the sea rumble like a thousand flares giving me the feeling of amazement. It seems like my staying here will become the most memorable moment even without a partner. And as I immersed my feet in the water, I can feel contentment. As if finding a match is a waste of time. Waiting for it to come is a destiny granted by the above.
