Summer Tears

I've been excited for school days to end
To feel the heat of summer and meet my friend
That friend, I don't always see
For his too far, just beyond the sea

And now that summer had finally come
I'm at the bay eyeing the sun
Till at the faded scene, a ship I saw
I jumped for joy, hoping you'll know

As it took shore, I waited to see
A face of you I'd like to see
But then I felt an ache inside as I thought
For there's no you, whom I approached

Then a man in glasses, came and cried
I said what's wrong, there's nothing to hide
Words went silent, as a hug was caught
Till then I noticed my eyes were soaked

I stood on my feet and eyed the man
Opening the letter my friend had send
Then I stood frozen as tears were falling
For the letter I received is a letter for leaving

Oh why now? When I had to see you
Why leave? When I'd come to meet you
I sobbed as knees fell on the ground
Left alone, questioning why you have gone

(Yea... I know it's pretty lame!)
