Lucy and I walked onto the bus together, ready to go to St. Marie Academy. Lucy had one of her maids sign her up for school. Oh, did I mention that Lucy is rich? We rolled our luggage to the back and sat down. I got the window seat of course. I always get the window seat.

I looked down at the uniform and grimaced. It has a skirt.

"Don't do that. I think you look adorable." Lucy beamed.

"You think dog crap is adorable." I said rolling my eyes.

"Nuh uh." She said pouting. I ignored her and put in my ear buds, turning on Riot by Three Days Grace. I watched the buildings blur together as we started moving.

Slowly there became less and less people. I knew Lucy was starting to get worried till we heard "St. Marie Academy district. St. Marie Academy district."

Liar. We had been walking for a while and I was okay, but Luciana looked as if she was about to pass out. Then we suddenly saw the school off in the distance. We walked through the gate and stared in awe at the humongous school in front of us.

"Uwah, this is St. Marie Academy?" Lucy beamed, suddenly forgetting she was literally about to faint just a second ago. "Oo, look there's a fountain. To be able to come here and learn in such a spectacular place is amazing." She cried, spinning around happily. I smiled at her silly antics.

"Although it would be better if Henri-sensei was here." I just nodded my head and started walking towards the building. I was looking around when I saw a huge statue of a fairy. "Look." I said pointing it out.

"Oo, I wonder what it is." Lucy said excitedly.

"It's a statue, baka."

"It's the queen of Sweet Spirits. What are sweet spirits?" Lucy asked.

"They are spirits of the school." A voice said.

"It talked!" Lucy exclaimed.

"No, you idiot. It was her." I said pointing at a girl standing near by.

"People who see a sweet spirit have their dreams come true. At least, that's how the legend goes." The girl said.

Then suddenly Lucy clapped her hands and started praying to it.

"Stop it. You're just humiliating yourself." I said.

"I'm Katou Rumi. I was told to show you guys around. Also, you two will be roommates." Lucy grinned and stuck out her hand.

"Nice to meet you." Rumi smiled and shook her hand.

"Can we go now?" I said annoyed.

"Oh, sure." Rumi replied.

Rumi showed us our rooms and told us that our stuff from home is here. "Oh no. I'm sorry I have to go. I have something to do." She said then rushed out.

"Ok, then." I muttered starting to try to find my class. Lucy was trailing behind me, making oohs and ahs. "The class is which way again?" I muttered to myself.

"Luciana Smith, Carson Wilder." We turned around and saw a beautiful boy. He had short green hair and big green eyes. He also had a birthmark under one of his eyes.

"How do you do?" He said with a smile. "I'm second year, Class A, Hanabusa."

"Second year?" Lucy asked. He nodded. "So we're in the same class?" I asked. He nodded again and smiled.

"Roses for the two young beautiful girls." He said with a small bow handing us a bouquet of roses. Lucy sniffed them and her eyes widened.

"These are candy!" He smiled.
