"Hey, Jeikeh!" Mexico exclaimed, secretly relieved as the true love of her life picked up the phone. She could envisage him right now, his messy hair falling over his eyes, the dark orange colour of his neck, his bumpy jaw line... and never the least his just-growing-beard with approximately seven hairs in it.

"Hey, Mex. How are ya?"

"Our, erm, study date went so well last time, I was wondering if you wanted to revise some English together?" Mexico asked, twirling a strand of hair around her finger.

"Uh, yeah, sure." Jeikeh replied eagerly. "But I have maths homework to do, could we work on that instead?"

Mexico couldn't helped but be turned on by the prospect of Jeikeh teaching her to solve maths equations (it was possible that her admiration for Mr Navis had given her a slight student-teacher fetish).

"Oh, sure!" she giggled.

Jeikeh nodded slowly, like he was trying to make sense of something, but then he said "I'll see you after school then? We can go to my place."

"Perfect." said Mexico, biting her lip (maybe a little too hard as she could taste blood) flirtily. "I'll see you tomorrow, Jeikeh!" It was such a shame Jeikeh couldn't see how sexily she was biting her lip. It was a sight to behold.

"See ya, Mex. Bye."

It was the most perfect afternoon. Jeikeh's parents were out, and Mexico and Jeikeh had spent an unusually long time getting out their maths papers and calculators, laughing together as they did so. She could sense something in the air. Love, love, it must be love. It might also be Jeikeh's manly deodorant that smelled of peppermint tree bark, but it was probably love.

Mexico looked up at Jeikeh's stunning crystal blue eyes. They were glistening orbs, swimming pools she'd love to dive into (naked). She was lost in the wonders of his pupils that she didn't notice him lean forward to gently brush some crumbs off the side of her lip with his thumb.

She blinked as she felt his touch, falling out of her trance, and gave him a lusty look. This had to be it. He'd initiated contact - semi-sexual contact, too. Mexico licked her lips, leaning forward slightly, expecting him to take over and just kiss her once and for all.

"You had something on your lip." Jeikeh said in a suave, low, husky tone, the one you normally only read about in fanfiction. He also leaned closer, and when their lips were about to touch, Mexico felt a strong urge to sneeze.

She gasped, taking in a sharp breath, but couldn't hold it back, and sneezed in Jeikeh's face.

"Jeikeh!" She wailed. "I'm so sorry!"

"Oh my god, you have cooties!" Jeikeh shrieked, running into her bathroom. Mexico heard the water running and Jeikeh emerged a moment later, with a soaked t-shirt.

Mexico was internally punching herself - how could she have done that? Seconds away from making out with her one and only true love and she had to ruin it? She might as well give up all hopes of marrying him now. She thought bitterly of the list of their children's names she'd prepared and how that would no longer be of any use.

"Jeikeh, I'm so sorry, honey!"

Jeikeh wiped his face vigorously with his t-shirt (giving Mexico a tasty look at his torso, which was underwhelming to say the least) then sighed, shaking his head. "It's okay. I washed it all off."

Mexico nodded quickly, smiling widely. She'd almost lost her chance, but maybe she could still sneak in a kiss. Jeikeh, however, seemed to be turning back to his papers, ready to concentrate.
