Chapter Eight: Do I Love You?

"Why is she so stubborn!!!" Jack yells as he flips a table. Jack starts pacing back and forth, "Did she get my message? Does she even know how I feel?" Jack wondered to himself. "Well whoever you're talking about she must be something special." A figure laughed in the shadows. Jack turned around and waited. "Come on I don't have time for your childish games Diana." "Alright, but who are you talking about Big B?" Diana smirked inching out of the shadows. "That's none of your concern." Jack growled. "Maybe I'll find her myself, Jackie boy~." Jack tensed up at the name. "That's her name isn't it... Jackie that sounds familiar... Anyway you've got a lot of explaining to do!" Diana yelled.

"Where do we start looking? It's been a week! He could be anywhere!" "I don't know, do you have anything of his?" "Yeah why?" Jackie asked. "Cause I can find him." Jane responded. "No need for that ladies." Diana cackled. The girls jumped Jackie turned into a wolf. "Who are you?" Jackie growled. "Just a... Problem." Diana responded turning into a demidog. "Diana Stop!!!" Jack yelled as he ran through the door. "Well, well, well, look who dropped into witness his loves execution!" Diana cackled. "Not today sis!" Jack yelled as he opened a portal and threw Diana in. "You little piece of sh-." Jackie stood there tears in her eyes along with her mad smoky eye. "Jackie I-I had too-." Jack cried. "Y-you had to what!?" Jackie cried. "I was worried about you Jack I thought something bad had happened!" She yelled as slapped him across the face then kissed him where she slapped him. "That's new." Jack laughed. Jackie whipped away her tears. Ava and Jane stood silently and slowly started backing away. "Were going to give you two some alone time." Ava giggled winking obviously. "Is that a good idea?" Jane whispered. "Just go! I feel the tension it's too much to bare!" Ava said dramatically while pushing Jane out, leaving Jack and Jackie alone. "Well then... that was something." Jackie looked at anywhere besides Jack. "You're wondering who almost killed you?" Jack asked. "She didn't even attack how could she kill me!?" "She didn't get a chance to?" "No." "Oh well anyway she was my little sister." Jackie froze. "Little sister!?" "Yeah..." Jack scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Well we all have our secrets." Jackie whispered. Jack waited. "What?" "Oh nothing I just thought you were going to tell me a secret." Jack smiled, Jackie looked away from him. "Look at me." Jack whispered. Jack slowly turned her head up to look at him, as soon as Jackie looked up at him Jack wrapped his arms around Jackie and pulled her in. In a shaky voice Jack said. "Look at me, I want to remember how you look what your soft menacing voice sounds like." Jack whispered. "Menacing!?" "When you get mad, it's really cute." Jack mumbled the last part. "Fair enough." "I don't want to ever forget you." Jack cupped Jackie's face with both of his hands and looked into her eyes. "Don't take your eyes off of me." "Where is this suddenly coming from?" Jack smiled and let go of her and stepped back. "We should get everyone together and hangout." "I'd like that." There came a sob of happiness coming from the back room. "Shut up." Jane whispered. "I can't it's so beautiful, that's the best love I've felt since... Will." Ava cried. Jackie turned around face burning red. "Excuse me for a second, Ava, Jane you said you left!" "I couldn't help it! The feelings were to strong! You guys need to be careful those feelings can be channeled into anger very easily." Ava warned. "Well I'm going to the arcade with Mike and Dustin, anybody want to come?" Jane asked. "No I got a date with Will at Castle Byers! I've been waiting months for him to take me out there!" "If you don't mind I would like to tag along, there's this kid that beat my high score so yeah." Jackie cracked her knuckles. "I'd better go with her, you know so she doesn't bust some heads literally." Jack laughed. "Why would I want to become a wanted criminal, dad would get mad at us." "Cause you're already a criminal to my heart." Jack smirks. Jackie froze and punch him lightly on his arm. "Shut up."

"Ava I haven't been out here since you know... My accident." Will stuttered. "That's okay, I'll protect you." Ava giggled. Ava could still feel Will's heart racing, suddenly a bird flew out of the bushes. Will jumped and fell backwards and froze. "Hey, I'm here don't give in to evil... Think of me." Ava softly said to Will. Will slowly began to come back. "Will! What did you see?" "I saw the shadow monster... strangling you!" Will cried. "That's in the past, I'm alright aren't I?" Ava giggled. "Yeah, I guess" "Come on silly, I want to see your castle!" Ava laughed as she ran alongside Will.
