Chapter Eight

A week later
Pattie's POV
I have to talk to Justin this is really affecting Tali.

On phone
"Hey, baby hows tour going?" I ask. "Hey mom and tour is great I just miss Tali." He responds. "I think she misses you too." I say. "Are you sure it doesn't seem like it." I could tell he was frowning.

"I'm sure after she got out the window we talked." I knew Justin was curious about what she said so I just told him. "She said everybody hates her and she is mad at you for not fighting for her to come, then she went to your room and cried herself to sleep.

"Gosh, I feel so bad!" He sighed. "Do you want me to put her on the phone?" I asked. "Could you please?" He asked. I went to Justin's room and told Tali somebody wanted to talk to her on the phone. "Who wants to talk to me?" She asked. "Go find out." I smile. "Ugh fine." She says as she jumps out of the bed and goes to get the phone.

Tali's POV
I went to the kitchen and grabbed our house phone. Then I went back into daddy's room so for whoever wanted to talk we could talk in private.

On the phone
"Hello?" I asked. "Hi." they said. "Who is this?" I asked. "It's daddy." He said. "Oh well why do you want to talk to me?" I tilted my head. "Because I miss you." I nodded my head even tho he couldn't see me. "Well thanks for missing me I guess." This is so awkward.

"Can we talk?" I nodded my head again. "About what." I ask. "About me leaving to go on tour." he says. "Sorry daddy I gotta go and your cutting out- ksh- sorry- ksh." I say making the fake cutting in and out noise. "Tali we can talk abou-." I interrupted. "Ksh- bye- ksh- daddy

I quickly ended the call and gave the phone back to grandma. After all that I went to the kitchen and made some popcorn. Once the popcorn was done I went to the living room and watched Turbo.

Justin's POV
My heart broke into pieces as she hung up. "Hey kiddo what's wrong?" Scooter asks. "I was just talking to Tali but then when I brought up the tour she hung up." I frowned. "It's fine she is just in her feelings and you will see her in no time." He says. "I know but I'm just hurt my mom told me she went in my room and cried herself to sleep the first night." I frown.

"Well get over it you will see her in four months." He says. "Do you not get it she is my daughter and this is the first time I've been away from her since I've adopted her!" I yell at him. This is complete bullshit I need to see my daughter somehow.
