I opened my eyes slightly and I felt many painful objects beneath me. I took in a deep breath only to regret it moments after, the smell was pure horrifying. I tried once more to open my eyes and took a glimpse of my surroundings, I sat up in confusion, why did I wake up behind a dumpster? I tried my hardest to remember what happened the day before but the last memory I had was being beaten. I stood up wondering how I got here, I looked around and realized I was behind the school and took out my phone and read the time as 10:37 A.M. "oh shit, i'm so dead." I picked up my books and started running home. I opened the back door in hopes I could sneak in unnoticed, but just my luck I saw my mother sitting at the dining table she looked up and glared at me. "Where the bloody hell have you been?!?!" my mother yelled standing up "I-I I can expla-" I was cut off as I felt her cold hand make contact with my face "You had your father and I worried sick don't you ever think about others, you inconsiderate little bitch, I bet you slept with a guy" I glanced up to see my mom having a fit of laughter. "Who am I kidding like a guy would ever sleep with an ugly emo bitch like you!" I felt a tear run down my cheek as I knew she was right. No man would ever love me. "I-I-" my mother once again cut me off "You're what, a mistake? Yeah I know." That one tear turned into millions of tears "I'm sorry" I yelled while running to my room and slammed the door locking it behind me.
I looked around desperate for a sharp object but there was none in sight. I looked to my left and had a sinister grin on my face I ran over to my mirror smashing it to pieces with my fist, as I was just about to cut my wrist with a piece I heard my dad yell from the living room "HEY KIDS CAN YOU COME DOWN HERE FOR A MOMENT?!?" I looked at my bleeding hand and ran to the bathroom I washed it off and wrapped a bandage around my hand I changed my shirt to a sweater to try and hide my arm. "ANDREA!!!" I heard my dad yell. I quickly rushed out of my room and yelled back "I'M COMING!!!" once I got to the living room I saw my sisters and brother trying to take up as much space on the couch as possible leaving me to sit on the floor. I looked up to see my dad taking in a deep breath as he was about to begin speaking. "So kids I have some pretty exciting news....we're going on a business trip to Ohio!!" instantly I saw my eldest sister, Ruby, get up yelling "OMG, daddy that's amazing!!!" I rolled my eyes at her perkiness, little did I know my younger sister, Amber, noticed and got up pointing at me screaming "MOMMY ANDREA IS BEING DISRESPECTFUL!!!" I looked at my mother "GO TO YOUR ROOM!" she whisper-yelled at me through gritted teeth. I got up and my dad stopped me "go pack your stuff we're leaving tomorrow."
I went upstairs and to my room I plugged in my earphones and blasted Black Veil Brides song "Never Give In." I instantly began feeling better as the soothing sound of Andy's voice ran through my head. Before I knew it I was asleep.
