A/N: Another chapter from _Anime_Obsession_. Again, some edits to make it match my writing style so there's not as much of a difference later.

Enjoy!

Weasel ran to the hospital as fast as he possibly could, eyes of the Sharingan, each with three tomoe, narrowing beneath the mask. Itachi Uchiha, codenamed Weasel, felt disgusted with the people of his village, shocked that they could do this to a child and still go home and smile at their own children without any guilt.

The thought that this could happen to Sasuke left him even more disgusted. He ran into the hospital and straight towards the front desk, barely stopping himself from continuing straight into an operating room.

"This girl is in need of immediate medical attention. I want your best healers down here immediately. This is an emergency, and I expect them to respond accordingly," Itachi spoke calmly, voice demanding even when slightly muffled by his Weasel mask, but he was anything but calm. He was disgusted, furious, but more than anything he was scared. Why? Because Naru deserved so much more than this, so much more than the wrath of the village. Because if what happened to Naru was something that could happen to Sasuke... He didn't even want to finish the thought.

The woman at the desk looked up when he spoke, gasping in shock at the young girl in the ANBU's arms before she registered just who it was. Her eyes narrowed at the unconscious child-- innocent of all her supposed crimes-- and she spoke in a disgusted tone, "We don't treat her kind in here, ANBU-san."

(Everything from here on is new.)

Her disgust only furthered his own, although his was against her rather than Naru. "Her kind? You mean innocent and defenseless children attacked without provocation and currently suffering unjustly? That seems like exactly the kind of person a hospital is meant to treat."

The woman looked taken aback. "That's not a person, ANBU-san. That's a demon."

"I'd love to debate this with you, really, but you have yet to do what I asked." The tomoe in his eyes began to spin dangerously, although the woman wouldn't know that. "I suggest you make it your priority before there are two people in need of medical attention."

She glared, or rather tried to, but relented, calling several healers in. It took far too long for Itachi's liking, but, at this point, he was just glad they came.

As Naru was rushed into an emergency operating room, Itachi watched, eyes flashing with sorrow behind his mask. Of all the people in the world, of everyone that could be the target of others' cruelty, "Why her?"
