Maybe it was the way you laughed because
you found it funny that I had never drank coffee,
and on an early Sunday morning I woke up to it's kiss
then yours.
Perhaps I discovered it in the way your teeth sparkled
when you smiled at me like I was Friday night football
and your team just won.
I'm not sure if it's the way your voice
sent chills and goosebumps down my spine
or the fact that I can't picture myself alone anymore.
All I know,
is lately I haven't known much about anything.
But somewhere in-between all the confusion,
I think I'll discover why my heart beats faster
when you look at me,
and is broken when you turn away.
