The time around moves like there was no 'you' earlier.
But my heart knows where were you in that time. 
Only thing it doesn't know is where are you now.

The alarm clock of his phone played a melodious tune otherwise for the time it used to play and his eyebrows scrunched to form those usual wrinkles on his forehead. Lazily turning his head to the other side he covered his ears with the cushion which he grabbed.

But the voice still entered his ears and his annoyance increased with the increasing intensity of the sound. Searching all over the bed he finally caught hold of his phone which wanted his attention.

With his eyes still closed he turned the alarm on it off and with much difficulty opened his eyes a bit. The digital clock was stuck at 7 and his eyes tried to send the message to his brain that it is already 7 in the morning.

'7? Damn 7' his brain snapped him and he sat up with a jerk only to be hit by the wooden slab like thing hanging over his head. “Ouch” he rubbed his slab hit head and looked at it annoyed.

“Happy Birthday to you Happy Birth day to you” that sweet melody of his life made his lips to curve up to form a smile. As the voice approached him his smile only went wide and wide.

“Happy birthday world's best Papa” two small hands dangled around his neck cutely and he closed his eyes feeling the best moment of his life. His little daughter finally completed a sentence without a tongue twisting problem. Last year he remember she said Happy Bilday Papa.

The past made him to chuckle and he held his daughter's little hands and brought her front. She pulled the wooden slab which hit his head a minute earlier and the glitter dropped over him and he was surprised at his daughter's gesture.

“Wow” he watched those glitter like he was a small kid. Glitter really makes everyone happy though they are of any age. It makes you feel special and he surely felt special today.

“Happy Birthday” his gaze moved to the door where Dadi, Dasi and his younger brother Sanskar entered with huge smile on their faces. Nodding his head in disbelief he smiled at them.

“Happy birthday Bhai” Sanskar hugged him and he reciprocated the hug.
