"Ugh what time is it?" Will asked, tightening his grip around my waist, kissing the crook of my neck. "8:00am babe, I have to get up", I replied, reaching over to my alarm turning it off. Will hid his face into the back of my neck, making little groaning noises in disappointment. "Nooooo, stay with me, stay in bed", he pleaded. "I can't, I have to do my shift, Cassie's on holiday", I argued, propping myself up on the side of the bed. I worked in a small café just found the corner from my flat. "I'll only be a few hours, 9 to 3 remember?" I said, kissing Will on the forehead and ruffling his hair. "Fineeee", he replied sighing, pecking my lips. Like a normal 17 year old boy does, he went back to sleep. I smiled in awe and went to my wardrobe, getting my work clothes out. Today I chose to wear a yellow dress with white lace butterflies embroidered onto the pockets. Then as usual, ruin the outfit with a tatty, blue pinafore. The hours at work flew by, I lied about finishing at 3, I finished at 2 and went into town. It was Will's birthday in a few days, turning 18, although he acts like a child most of the time. I turned 18 last month. I'd only lived in my flat for a couple of months, well on my own that is.
