The New Beginning (Story on Hold)

Chapter One- The Texts:

Jonah woke up groggily at 6:37 am and checked his phone, Instagram notifications, twitter notifications, and a text. He slid his lock screen open and checked the message. It was from his friend Alex, and read "Hey can you meet me and Lily at the park? I haven't seen you in a while" Jonah decided he would go and texted back "sure be there in a few" he rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom. He stripped off his black plaid pajama pants and his boxers and slid in the shower. He let the water drip down his body and he cleaned himself, running his fingers through his face hugging, ebony hair. He switched off the water and and grabbed a towel and dried off staring down at his bare wrist, cloaked in scars from his cuts. He sighed as he drug himself back to his room and dressed himself in boxers, black skinny jeans, a black Mitch Lucker tribute T-shirt and a black hoodie with a skeleton on it. He went back to the bathroom straightened his hair, brushed his teeth, and lined his blue eyes with jet black eyeliner. He popped his head in his brother, James, room

"You up yet squirt?" Jonah asked staring at his blonde haired adopted brother's sleepy head popping out from under the blanket.

James moaned "I am now..."

"Sorry didn't mean to wake you, I'm heading to the park, I'll be back shortly if your to lazy to make breakfast I'll cook when I get back, ok?" Jonah remarked chuckling softly at his brothers reaction

"Ok..." James rolled over and dozed back off

Jonah slips out of the room and heads down stairs, gently kissing his kitten Oracle's head, and grabbing his keys as he walked out the door. He slipped into his black camaro and put the keys in ignition and looked down at his phone one last time, and had another text from Alexandria, his best friend from when he was little. He opened it it reading "Hey Jonah can you come over when you get a chance? I miss you"

"Of course" he smiled as he typed the message back and backed out of the driveway heading toward the park to meet Alex and Lily.

The chapters may be short but this is my first story so bear with me (: ~A.V.
