The Nightwatcher

(Far away in Central America, Leonardo meditated next to a warm fire he'd made, he had made a small cave below the jungle his home of sorts, well more of a place to sleep than a home but it served it's purpose, Leo concentrated on his family, the family he'd left behind, the family he dearly missed but knew he wasn't ready to go back to just yet, suddenly a figure appeared out of the flames, it was Master Splinter, or at least a vision of him)

Splinter: "My son. All this time you shut yourself off from your loved ones. Why now do you reach out?"

Leo: "I'm sorry Sensei. I failed you. I betrayed our family and I got you killed. That's something I'll never forget. Something I'll carry with me forever."

(Splinter shushed him soothingly)

Splinter: "Hush child. You did what any young man would have done. It is not wrong to have feelings for a beautiful woman."

Leo: "It's wrong when she turns out to be The Shredder's daughter and the whole stupid game she was playing was a trap to stop me from saving you."

Splinter: "You are responsible my son. You honor me by admitting your mistakes and learning from them. Although I believe there is one mistake in particular you do not even realize you have made."

Leo: "Huh? What leaving?"

(Splinter nodded)

Leo: "Master I needed to go. They didn't want me around. What Raph said.."

Splinter: "Raphael needs you Leonardo. All of your brothers do. By abandoning them you have not only caused this family to drift apart but you have made the same mistake that caused you to leave in the first place."

Leo: "I don't understand. What mistake?"

Splinter: "Leonardo. Your brothers are in grave danger."

Leo: "What? What do you mean? What danger? Master Splinter?"

(But Master Splinter was gone, Leo watched as the fire withered then went out)

(Central Park, Friday Night)

(Casey Jones did donuts on his motercycle)

Casey: "Come on out green loser! We have some unfinished business!"

(Suddenly a figure in a dark gray and black suit with a motercycle like helmet dropped out of the trees, Casey was startled)

Casey: "Whoa! Not the guy I was expecting. Unless you're just him in disguise."

(The figure said nothing)

Casey: "Alright well a fights a fight I guess." (He grabbed his baseball bat) "Welcome to class pain 101. Your instructor's Casey Jones."

(The figure took out two large chains and swung them around menacingly)

Casey: "Alright now you're askin for it punk! Goongala!" (Casey charged at the figure but was quickly lifted up off his feet and thrown into a tree trunk by him)

Casey: "Ah! Damn you ain't no joke!"

(Casey staggered to his feet as the figure gave him a hand gesture meaning 'come at me bro', Casey yelled and swung his bat and golf club but the figure used his chains to disarm him then gave him a head butt and a hard kick, Casey fell onto the grass struggling to get back up)

Casey: "I'm telling ya man I'm just getting warmed..!"

(A swift punch to the face knocked Casey out)

(The figure put his chains back in his belt and turned when he saw a figure on the roof ahead of him, a mutant turtle with a red bandanna, the suited figure made a run for it through the park into the streets as Raph pursued him, he chased him across several rooftops determined to catch this mysterious figure, Raph finally lost his patience and threw a Sai at the figure's feet which made him lose his balance and fall onto the roof, Raph jumped at him but the figure kicked him hard into a neon sign, Raph groaned and looked up just as the figure was about to leap out of sight)

Raph: "Wait! Who the shell are you?"

(The figure turned and spoke in a deep disguised voice)

"The Nightwatcher." (With that the Nightwatcher leapt off the building leaving Raph alone on the roof)

(Don and April were fast asleep, the two were sleeping comfortably when the kitchen caught fire!

(Don heard the smoke detector and quickly got up and was shocked at how fast the fire had spread, he was running to the fire extinguisher when an explosion went off in the kitchen knocking Donnie out the window, he bounced off the fire escape and rolled onto a dumpster to the alley below, he was shook up but okay, Donnie looked up at the apartment in horror as he could see the fire had spread to the bedroom)

Don: "April!!" (Don began to climb back up the fire escape when the Nightwatcher burst through the building carrying April protectively in his arms, he landed next to Don in the alley and handed April over to him)

Don: "Th..thank you."

(The Nightwatcher nodded)

Don: "April honey are you okay?"

April: "Uhh yeah. I'll survive."

(Don breathed a sigh of relief and looked back but the Nightwatcher was gone)

Don: "Who the shell?"
