Pitter Patter
Pitter Patter
Her head snapped up
To the eyes of a stranger
Oh, so bitter they were
A scary heart
Shaking knees her head buried in
Her demons had come out to play
Drag into the darkness
That she dread so much
Though she finds it the safest place at times
Those times when it better to let your own darkness consume the speck of happiness consume the speck of happiness that floats around and sometimes make stakes grace the heart leaving behind a warmth of memories that would soon fade away.
A rant for the soul
a darkness to be sold
A life that I'm sold to.
