Chapter 3 Derry Explained

Owen's POV

    It all started when Derry, Maine was founded, who actually knows this could've been before that but it wasn't ever recorded, I begin. Ben would be able to explain this a lot better than me, I say. Whose Ben, Lucas asks confused. He was the new kid in town we saved him from Bowers and his gang over summer he is the reason we know about the history, he was the main reason we solved the mystery's of Derry, smartest kid I know, now he's part of the losers club, I tell them all. Oh so he's with your other friends, Will asks. 

    Wait whose Bowers, Dustin asks confused. Oh he's the meanest kid in town he beats up everyone, he wouldn't leave me alone either always telling me my friends are losers... how do you think we got the name the loser's club, I start. He was able to cut part of his name into Ben's stomach before Ben got away and we helped him, I explain. Oh so he's the Troy Harrington of your dimension except worst, Mike says. Um whose Troy, I ask. The biggest bully in our school, Dustin tells me. Okay now i'll finish the story, I say. 

    Derry started out as a beaver trapping camp, I begin. 91 people signed the charter that made Derry, I tell them pausing. Later that winter they all disappeared without a trace, there were rumors of Indians but no sign of an attack was found, I continue. Everyone thought it was the plague or something, but it's like one day everyone just woke up and left the only clue was a trail of bloody clothing leading to the well house, I finish. Whats the well house, Mike asks. A very old creepy abandoned worn down house with a well in the basement, I explain. 

    Since then lots of people went missing or were found dead, I start. There was once this study turns out people die or disappear 6 times the national average in Derry and that's just grown ups kids are way way worst, I tell them. Their eyes widen at the information so shocked. Now this is where our story begins, I tell them.

    One day Georgie Denbrough he was my friend Bill's younger brother it's a hard subject for Bill so when you meet him don't bring it up around him please, I tell them. Okay, they respond. So Bill was sick and Georgie wanted to play with him but couldn't so instead Bill made him a paper boat perfect because it was raining, I begin. Georgie took his rain coat and went outside letting his boat float down the stream, I continue. Bill did his best to keep an eye on Georgie from the window he even used his walkie talkies to tell Georgie to come home a little while later, that's the last time Georgie was heard or seen from, I explain. Now to three weeks ago when it all started for us Bill wanted to look for Georgie always believing he was alive...I tell them the whole story all about Pennywise, being kidnapped, the others almost dying, Bill finding his brother in the sewers dead, the fight, everything. 

    When I finish the all look at me shocked, taking in all the information I gave them. So your immortal, Dustin asks. Yup people always mistake me for being younger than I am already now i'm never gonna look older than 6 and i'm 10, I say pouting. Sorry Owen, Mike says putting his hand on my shoulder. It's alright I still have my friends that's all that matters, we're like family and everything that happened Goergie's death... I trail off. It brought us closer together I met 3 new amazing people along the way. Now here i'm meeting more amazing people, I say motioning to them. They smile and we head out to look for my friends wait no my family.
