I couldn't take it anymore so I punched him in the guts and ran for it and I hid in another room, in the closet, hoping he wouldn't look in there. As I wait for him to pass by the room and I soon fell asleep, only to be found shortly. He hugged me tightly as I attempt to get him off of me but he didn't budge. "If you ever try to escape from me ever again, I will kill the people you care the most." He whispered in my ear,menacingly. The way he smiled, wasn't a reassuring smile...it was the smile of a person who has lost his sanity. It sent shivers down my spine as I looked in horror.
My mind gets clouded with dark thoughts and I start to feel light-headed until I hear someone knocking at the front door. He let's go of me and goes downstairs towards the front door as I quietly follow him to see who it is. I was so surprised when he opened the door to reveal the face of my best friend, Lily. "I'm looking for my friend, Erica. Have you seen h-"no" he cut her off. This is it. This is my chance to escape this hell hole. "Lily!!" I yelled out. "You lied to me!" She yelled at him as she kicked him in the face, knocking him out . She quickly snatched my hand and ran to her house.
