As the next day rolled in, Loki was confronted by Houston, asking if she could take photos not only for her own research but for theirs as well and take photos of the crew on this expedition. She reluctantly agreed. She stood on the ships main deck with the soldiers as they all listened to music, cut hair, and just relaxed together. She walked along the sidelines, her overall shorts rolled at the highs as her white wife beater was tucked in. she brought the camera up, snapping photos of them all together as they posed. She couldn't hide a soft smile and one soldier noticed.

"Slivko," he shouted while pointing to her. "She smiles!"

"Would you look at that, Cole," the kid shouted, throwing his arm around his friend's shoulder. "You owe me 20 bucks!" he joked. He plucked the helmet off of Mills's head and plopped it onto Loki's. "Your turn," he said, scooping the camera away from the girl, making her laugh.

James watching from a walkway on the upper portion of the ship. He watched as one of the soldiers pulled her to dance with him and she even played along, laughing as she was twirled. He couldn't stop himself from smiling slightly, seeing that she did have a somewhat playful side rather than just being a bit uptight. As he looked up from the deck, he saw it, the massive storm clouds that practically touched the water.

Loki noticed it too, stopping herself from dancing and she stared in awe. The soldiers noticed her no longer dancing and enjoying herself so they looked where she was looking, all immediately stopping their tomfoolery as well. She waved Slivko to her frantically, asking for her camera back. Once he handed it over, she jogged to the front of the boat, getting up next to the railing and snapped multiple photos. Thunder cracked and she smirked slightly. She knew it was a matter of time before they would hop on helicopters and take off so she decided she best go get a back ready. As she headed towards indoors, she nodded at the soldiers as she hurried on.

In her room, she prepared a backpack. She threw in two shirts and a pair of pants before changing quickly, throwing on some tan cargo pants, hiking boots, and a button up shirt, rolling it at the sleeves. She pulled out a case she had hidden under her bed, pulling out antivenoms for some animals that were known to live in the climent she was about to explore as well as some syringes. In addition, she brought film for her camera, a notebook for any findings, some dried fruit packs a cantine and a book, incase she had downtime. She quickly zipped the back and threw it over her shoulder before picking up her camera and placing the strap around her neck and the flashlight off of her nightstand, putting it into one of her pockets. As she turned back to her door, there was a loud knock.

She quickly pulled the door opened to see Houston. "Loki," he breathed out. "Wait are you ready?" he asked, confused.

"I am not blind," Loki pointed out. "I can see when there is a giant wall of horrendous storm cloud," she said, hip-checking him as she walked out of her room. "Main deck?" she asked as she was walking away from him.

"Yes," he shouted. "Your riding with Conrad." when she stopped in her tracks and whipped in his direction, he put his hands up in a failed attempted to calm her. "My copter was full," he explained.

"Fine," she said boredly. She turned again and proceeded to the stairs that lead to the main deck. As she pushed the door open, she saw the soldiers all doing their duties and readying the aircrafts. She walked, looking around until she saw Conrad, sitting up in a see in a Helicopter. She sighed and moved forward more, walking to the open side and seeing him looked down at her. He licked his lip as she pulled up her camera, snapping a photo of all the soldiers running around and turned to him. He raised a brow and she simply waved a hand at him, getting him to stand, move his back and sit in the seat over so she could have his. She sat down, her butt colliding with the uncomfortable seat. She quickly took off her backpack and shoved it into the little compartment next to her seat to it wouldn't fly out During take off.
