<pre>"Lorelei, it is your turn."

I watched her take a deep breath, and enter the Training Room accompanied by Cathy. She turned to look back at me, and I gave her a big smile. She's going to do great, I just know it.

I'm next! They've been calling everyone in the order they have gotten picked, and I'm next. Makenna had told me to just show them the best of me, and that's what I'll do. I stood up, and started stretching. I haven't had breakfast yet, as it was only 8 in the morning, and they didn't want us to get sick. They had started at 6 in the morning, and everyone got 15 minutes to show them their stuff. I knew I was going to throw a knife, I just didn't know how. I needed to show them something spectacular.

I sighed, and looked at the big black doors. I was the only one left in the room, because everyone else had already finished. </pre>

I walked over to the water fountain, and gulped down some of the clean, crisp water. I placed my hair in a ponytail, and combed it out with my fingers. I looked at the clock- Lorelei had been in there for 10 minutes, 5 minutes to go.

I groaned. I couldn't think of anything to do! I needed to show them something spectacular, something over the top fantastic, but what?

I paced back and forth until they called my name.

"Avee, it's your turn." Makenna told me. I followed her into the Training Room. One of the walls was transformed into a weapon wall, and there was a mud pile in the corner with a fake tree, it was snowing in one corner, and various ropes and vines hung from the ceiling. There were dummies everywhere, and some that were moving in and out from behind the tree. I walked up to the people who were sitting in chairs and watching me. Well, some were. The others were talking or laughing.

I walked over to the first man, and shook his hand introducing myself. He was surprised, but he stood to shake my hand.

Once I had all of there attentions, they said I could start. They explained with a bored expression what I had to do.

There were a total of 20 targets in the room, some large, some small. They were everywhere from being hidden to in plain sight on the ceiling. I smiled, and got in a sprinters position. The whole thing was times, and they also watched your skills. The leading time was 10 minutes, 2 seconds. I could beat that. They wouldn't tell me what Lorelei got, but I guessed West got the top time.

GO!

I sprinted over to the weapon wall, and grabbed the satchel of knifes. I pulled one out, and quickly threw it to the 5 targets in the corners and middle. They flew backwards into the wall/ground.

I raced to the forest setup, and pulled up some leaves, I stepped back and threw the knife at it. Behind me came a target falling on top of me. I freaked out, and whipped my hand forward, sending a knife at it. It stopped inches away from me, and I ducked and rolled away from it. I grinned, and hopped on the vine in the middle. I thrusted my hips forward, sending me flying in the air, I whizzed through the air, circling faster and faster. I "woo-hoo ed", and hit most of the targets.

I glanced around, impatient. I couldn't find the last one anywhere! I looked at the clock, 9 minutes, 27 seconds. Damn it. I wasn't going to make it unless I got the target soon. I jumped up and down, left and right to see the target. I couldn't find it anywhere. I sighed, and sat down. I layers on my back, slamming my hands on the ground in defeat. I looked up, where the rope was right above me. It was perfectly centered. I sighed and closed my eyes again.
