Chapter 7

The next morning I woke to the sight of Tobias's bare back, I ran my fingers along the ink that had settled there for such a long time and rested my hand on the abnegation symbol closing my eyes and wondering what it would be like if I were still at home and if my mother and father were still here. I miss them. Each day is a struggle without them but I must stay strong especially for Tobias.

I get up and begin getting dressed as everyone else does the same. As I pull on my jacket a sudden knocking comes from the door and a smiling Zoe comes waltzing in "very special day today people! Very special assignments for you all! Quickly everyone quickly! We have so much to do!" I grab Tobias' hand as we are led to a room full of computers and screens placed all around. "This is the monitoring room, where we have being monitoring your city from the very beginning! Although you may see some places on these monitors here that are not very familiar to you all.." Zoe clears her throat and continues "that is because they belong to other cities that are surrounding the bureau, these cities were set up by the bureau just like yours and monitored by us for years, and that my dears is where you lot come in!" I stare at her in disbelief before someone finally says something, "wait.." Peter says "so you want us to sit and stare at these people doing everyday things on a computer screen? Isnt that your job?" He folds his arms and Zoe lets out a cackle like laugh as though peter had just told her a really hilarious joke "don't be so silly! We're sending each of you in to a city to monitor it from the inside!" Tobias hand twitches and I can tell by the look on his face that he wasn't very keen on this idea. He felt my eyes on him and he turns to me nodding at me with a face of concern and mouthing "okay?" I smile faintly and mouth back in response "okay." He smiles and squeezes my hand and turns back to look at Zoe. I'm not okay. In fact im terrified. Me going to a new surrounding had never went well and I can tell in my heart already that this isn't going to work well in my favour either.

Zoe reaches back into a desk to pull out a pile of blue folders, she examines them and turns back to us with a huge smile on her face "now..Christina and Caleb? Yes, you're assigned to the city of England, to a place of ottery st catchpole where you will be living with Mr and Mrs Weasely and their children and will be attending Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardy, you will go through the necessary training you need in order to pass for both a witch and a wizard in order to...fit in." She hands the folder to caleb and Christina who's faces are dropped in horror and disbelief "now who's next yes, Peter, you are being assigned to-"
"What! I'm being assigned alone? That's not fair! I can-"
"Peter! You are being assigned to the urban, contemporary city of New York where you will be living with Mr Jace lightwood at the institute, Mr lightwood is a shadow hunter and you will also undergo the basic training needed to also fit in in your new setting.." She hands the folder to Peter who looks as though he is on the verge of tears but keeps his head down and accepts the folder.
"And lastly Tris and Tobias..you are being assigned to.." What we were told next makes my world fall down around me.
