Hi y'all! Regular update, sorry. Gods, that title is so sad 😞. Now you've probs skipped this entire thing, but I'm dragging it out because I want you to suffer. But, not that much so please, enjoy :).
In a few minutes, soft snoring filled the air, and that's when the nightmares started.
Tony's body tensed up and started shaking.
He was flying into the portal while carrying the nuke.
"Would you like me to call Miss Potts?" Jarvis' robotic voice echoed through the suit.
"Might as well," Tony responded. The call icon along with Pepper's smiling face popped up.
After a bit, the words "call failed" appeared across his vision before his suit powered out.
He let go of the nuke, and a few seconds after, he fell unconscious due to the lack of oxygen.
But, the last image that he saw. Permanently sealed into his mind, was a big humanoid figure. A distinct purple. A crazed look in his eyes with an evil smile on his face.
The las thing he saw... was Thanos, the Mad Titan.
Tony bolted up with a gasp. He looked around frantically before sighing in relief. It was just another nightmare. Ever since the Battle of New York, Tony's been having terrible nightmares.
He looked to his right. Loki was nudging his side; he knew that Stark was the enemy, but he didn't want that to happen to anyone. He nudged his side again and meowed.
Tony picked him up and started stroking his fur. Loki allowed himself to purr in reaction to Tony's rough and calloused hands stroking his soft and glossy black fur.
They stayed in that position for a bit longer, and soon both of them fell into a peaceful sleep after weeks of terrors during the night.
Sorry this is so short. I don't just procrastinate on updating this, but I also procrastinate about homework. I legit finished homework brushed my teeth and stuff, now I'm in bed rooming with my phone and updating this piece of trash that somehow people read. Bye!
