crickets' all i hear
shadows everywhere
my heart beats fear,
vision's not very clear

so i walked with my eyes closed,
not minding all thorns
just to find some lost folks
that I'll be with this point

at the edge of the cliff,
a little bonfire was flamed
one blink and i stiffed,
as a tear through my eyes escaped

i shouted and ran and called
this time, I'm not being fraud
i just wanna go home fast
to cope up with the days that passed

people out there,
seems very fair
they're all smiles when i came
now, i don't know who to blame

they sang a melody
and dance with harmony
not minding the consequences
to be out here alone, left

one by one, they told me
their every story
how they lost and lived,
find a way to survive

when the crickets are all i hear
and the shadows are everywhere
when my heart's conquered by fear
there's zero possibility of victory
