Savannah's p.o.v
Kurt and Steph gave me Friday through to Sunday off to plan my dads funeral. So I'm in Iowa with Seth's mum and brother since they're helping me with it. I will admit something. I've cut a few more times since I've been home. Luckily it's cold and snowy here so jeans and long sleeve jumpers are perfect to wear and no body will notice the new addition to both my wrists.
"Hey Savannah, have you picked out a song you would like to play as we enter the building?"
"No I haven't. I'm trying to remember all of my dads favourite songs he used to listen to"
Brandon was about to speak again, but my phone cut him off by ringing.
"Oh it's Seth be back in a bit"
I walked into my bedroom in my house and answered the phone.
"Hi Seth"
Hey baby, what's up?"
"Nothing much, trying to pick a song for the funeral. What's up with you?"
"Just finished doing a work out. How's my mum and Brandon?"
"They're fine. They've been really helpful"
"Ah that's good. I just want to know. How are you holding up?"
"I'm fine"
"Savannah"
"Fine. I'm broken Seth. I can't do this. I never wanted to plan a funeral ever. I can't carry on. I feel like I'm going to break down every 5 minutes. I just want to shut everyone out and be with my dad"
"Baby, please don't say that"
"But it's true though Seth"
"No it's not. Listen to me. Take some time out. Tell my mum and Brandon to carry the planning on by themselves and I'm sure they'll understand. You need to make sure that you're all ok before you plan anything first. You got it"
"I can't Seth even if I'm not planning, I'll break down"
"Right listen. I'm going to do something that will make you will better, I hope, ok? But in the mean time send my mum and brother Home. You need some alone time right now"
"Ok. I wish you were here"
"I know and we'll see each other on Monday hopefully"
"Yeah"
"I love you baby"
"I love you too Seth"
I hung up the phone and started crying more. I heard my bedroom door open and felt arms around me.
"Sweetheart, it's Holly. Do you want Brandon and I to go home. We can finish the planning if you'd like"
"If it's not too much of a hassle"
"It's not sweetie. Now if you need us we are just 20 minutes away. Text or call us and we'll be here to help you"
"Thank you so much. It means a lot"
"Your family has always been so close we would do anything for you. Now get some sleep. You must be tired with all the planning"
I laid down on my bed and she pulled a blanket over me.
"I'll bring you a surprise tomorrow"
"Ok, thank you"
She turned my light off and left the room. I soon drifted off into a sleep.

•6:00pm•
I woke up from my sleep. Wow I was asleep for 6 hours. I got up to use the bathroom and noticed a note on my table.

Savannah,
I cooked you some dinner for tonight when wake up. Seth called me and I told him that you would ring when you woke up. He's managed to get tomorrow off to come help a bit and then travel with you to RAW.

I love that woman. She was like another mum to me. Always there when my mum left when I was 10. I grabbed my phone and ring Seth back. After a few rings he answered.
"Hi Baby"
"Hi I got your mums note. You're coming home tomorrow?"
"Yeah. It's the least I could do"
"Thanks. Hey. Do you know if the surprise your my mum has planned for me?"
"Yes and I'm not telling you"
"Ugh come on"
"Nope Im not telling you. Just know that you'll be very happy"
"I better be otherwise I'm gonna be mad"
"I promise you won't be mad"
"Ok. How's the live event?"
"It's alright got another hour and half until it starts"
"Ah cool"
"How are you feeling now baby?"
"Umm..I dunno I have a lot of mixed emotions going on"
"Aww..I'll be with you tomorrow"
"I know. I can't wait to have you here"
"I know baby"

•Half an hour later•
I just got off the phone with Seth and walked into my kitchen. Kevin, Seth's Yorkie, was asleep in his bed on the floor just before the kitchen.
"Hey Kevin. You know your dad's coming home tomorrow"
He cuddled up to me as I picked him up. I made it to my kitchen and saw that Holly had made Chicken Parm with vegetables and creamed potatoes. Yummy. I placed it on a plate and heated it up in the microwave. I dished up Kevin's dinner whilst I was waiting for mine and placed it next to his bed.

•9:40pm•
I sat on my couch watching t.v noting good was really on and I was bored. I was flicking through the channels and I landed on an episode of The Bachelor. I was about 10 minute into the programme and my phone rang. I picked it up without looking at the Caller I.D.
"Hello?"
"Hey baby girl"
"Hi Roman"
"How are you?"
"I'm getting there. How are you?"
"I'm good just got out of my match"
"Ooh who were you up against?"
"The Miz"
"Omg what a loser he is"
"Hah yeah"
"How's the planning coming?"
"Stressful. Never knew it would be this hard"
"It will all be ok baby girl. I know you can get through this. Alright I gotta hand the phone back to Seth since mine is charging. Love ya"
"Love you too Roman"
There was a bit of shuffling before I heard his voice.
"Hey baby. I'm just packing my stuff up and then I'm on my way home"
"Ok baby. I'm really appreciative of you doing this"
"It's alright. Steph and Kurt understood that you needed me there with you"
"I know"
"Did you want me to stay at my place or come straight to yours?"
"You can come mine. I'm sure I'll still be awake"
"Ok baby. If you are asleep when I arrive, I'll try not you wake you"
"Hey babe?"
"Yeah"
"I love you"
"I love you too and I'll see you very soon"
"Have a safe trip, bye"
"I will, bye Baby"
I ended the call and locked my phone and turned my attention back to The Bachelor. I never really watched this programme but it was the only interesting thing on.

•1:30am•
I heard my front dome being opened and then shut. I already knew it Seth so I didn't need to worry. I turned myself onto my back and slowly opened my eyes. He was in the kitchen making a drink. I stood up from the couch and walked into the kitchen. I rubbed my eyes just to open them up a bit more. I wrapped my hands around his waist and hugged him.
"Did I wake you?"
"No baby"
"Come here"
He turned his body around so we face to face. He kissed me on the lips. I placed my hands around his neck as we deepened the kiss. We pulled away and just stared at each other.
"I missed you Seth"
"I missed you too baby, did you want some tea?"
"Yes please"
I took my seat at my table as Seth placed a mug in front of me. He sat opposite and he started talking about his match that he had. I wasn't listening, I was paying too much attention to how hot he looked. He was wearing his glasses, his hair tied back in a bun. Damn.
"Savannah?"
"Hun. Sorry what?"
"What were you thinking about in that mind of yours"
"Honestly, just thinking about hot you look right now"
"In sweats and t-shirt?, nah"
"Oh yes, I mean the glasses just too it off. I like the glasses"
"Oh you do?"
"Yes I do"
I stood up and put my empty mug in the skin and kissed Seth on the forehead. He grabbed my wrist as I winced at the contact.
"What's wrong with your wrist?"
"Nothing"
"Savannah, that wasn't nothing. Are you in pain?"
"Nope"
"Then why did you wince at my touch. Has some lady hurt you"
"Nope"
"Savannah, I'm being serious. What's happened to your wrist"
"Honestly nothing, god drop it"
"Come here"
I walked towards him and he grabbed my arms again and pulled my sleeves up. He looked at my arms and I pulled them away and ran into my bathroom locking the door.
"Savannah, baby open the door please"
"No I'm a freak. You probably hate me or want to leave me"
"Baby I'd never do that. And you're not a freak. Can you please come and talk to me. I want to be there for you"
"No. Please leave me alone"
"I'm not going anywhere"
"Colby Daniel Lopez leave me alone"
"Even when you use my full name I'm not going anywhere"
"Fine sit there and wait. I ain't coming out"
"I will"
It went quiet for a while and I heard footsteps walking away from the door. I left it for a while before unlocked the door and creeping it open to peak outside. The hallway was clear as I stepped out. I made just before my bedroom door when Seth came out.
"Fuck"
"Great you're out. Let's talk"
"No"
"Savannah, don't be stubborn on me now. Open up to me and tell me why you did it"
"Ok"
"Really?"
"Hell no!"
"Babe. Tell me why you did it"
"I did it because I hurt Seth! You think it's easy to find out you were cheated on and then have your father die on the same night. No. It was too much too handle and I couldn't take it anymore, so I cut myself! There you happy I told my story, now go away"
I pushed him out of my way and walked into my bedroom.
"When did my start?"
You're not gonna stop are you?"
"No"
"Ugh! Fine. When we were in San Diego at the beginning of the week"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't want you to think I was some freak and leave me"
"You know I would never ever do that. Through thick and thin, I'll always be by your side. I just don't understand why you couldn't express how you were feeling to me before you did this?"
"I found it hard ok. I did not want to break down on you and look weak"
By this time I was crying on the floor looking down at the ground. Seth kneeled I'm front of me and took my hands.
"Being strong comes with weaknesses babe. You just gotta see that sometimes"
I felt him grab my wrists and pull my sleeves up again. He lifted my wrists and brought them to his mouth and placed kisses along the cuts that remained there. I poked at him and smiled weakly at home before going closer to him and kissing him. I placed my legs either side of him and deepened the kiss. Well you know all know what happens next 😉☺️
