Savannah's p.o.v

8 months pregnant. I'm super uncomfortable today. Not long now, but who knows our little princess could be coming sooner. Colby and I came up with a name and we were keeping to ourselves until my baby shower this afternoon. The name we chose is very close to both of us. All I can say is that the initials are JHL. Kevin is staying at Holly's until the baby is a few months old. 

"Savannah!, you ready to go?"

"Yeah. I just need help with putting my sandals on please!"

"On my way up!"

This is the only downfall of being pregnant, you can't do the things you love because you're uncomfortable, you have to pee all the bloody time, and you can hardly move. Colby entered the room and knelt down and put my sandals on for me whilst making sure the strap wasn't too tight. Also, another disadvantage...swollen feet and hands. I had to take my wedding/engagement ring off when I reached the 6-month mark and I can't wait to put them back on.  

"All done, you need help standing up?"

"Yes, please"

As I stood up I felt even more uncomfortable. I just hope I can get through the baby shower. We walked downstairs and Colby sorted my bag out for me whilst I leaned against the wall. 

"Oh, man!"

"What is it, babe?"

"I need to fucking pee and I've just got down here. Little princess my bladder is not a toy, OK"

"Just use the downstairs toilet"

"We have a downstairs toilet?"

"Yeah, I had it installed when you became 7 months pregnant so you didn't have to keep going up and down the stairs"

"You are the most thoughtful person ever!"

I walked over and kissed him before going into the downstairs toilet to do my business. I returned to Colby who was holding my bag for me on his shoulder. I went to grab it but he pulled it away from me.

"You're carrying enough?"

It took me a minute to think what he meant but realized he was talking about the baby.

"Damn, I never knew you were this thoughtful Colby"

"You better believe it"

~at the baby shower~ 

The place looked absolutely beautiful. We were holding the baby shower at a cute little hotel in Des Moines and I must admit everyone did a pretty good job with setting the place up. It's so pretty and pink. I took my phone out and upload a picture to my Instagram story. Colby and I greeted everyone before sitting down on a baby pink couch. 

"You look very beautiful today, Sav"

"Thank You. You look handsome"

"Are you ready to open some baby gifts?"

"100%"

Colby helped me open some of the presents as we talked to everyone. Nikki, Brie, Bryan, and Birdie were all sat around us and the girls wanted to take a photo with me. Their hands were placed on my bump as Colby took the picture. Brie told me how exciting it is bringing a new life into the world and if I needed any help then just call her or Bryan. Nikki had handed me her present and I opened it to see a cute baby pink onesie that said 'I love CoCo' on it.

"Nikki, this is so cute. Thank you"

"You're welcome. Call me anytime you need a babysitter when you're in San Diego"
