Marbles

Lily walked absentmindedly down a hallway.

"Lily!" Len suddenly appeared, running towards the blonde woman.

"What do you want?" Lily asked with a roll of her eyes.

"I have a sack of marbles in my pants!" He exclaimed.

Lily turned around, horrified. "Len! I don't want to know that right now! Or ever!" She tried to run away.

"No, I actually have a sac of marbles in my pants!" He produced a bag of marbles from his pocket. "See!"

Lily laughed, placing her hand on her forehead. "I thought you meant..." She couldn't finish because she was laughing so hard.

"Alright. Well, thank you for the laugh. Bye!" Lily finally regained her breath, then ran off.

"Alright. Who's next?" Len pondered out loud. "I know!"

"Piko!" Len yelled, running back the way he came. "Piko!" Len had to take many twisting turns to actually find the white haired boy.

"Piko! I have a sack of marbles in my pants!" Len yelled, stopping in front of Piko.

Piko's eyes lit up. "Can I see?"

Len looked at him weird. "Uh, sure." He reached into his pocket and drew out the bag. "Here it is."

A disappointed look crossed over Piko's soft features. "Oh. An actual sack of marbles."

"Well, no duh. What did you think I was saying?" Len cocked his head to the side.

"Um..."

A blush began to color his face. "Bye!" He darted into a room on the left.

Len sighed. "Well, that didn't work like I wanted it to." He stuffed the bag back in his pocket and started to walk. With only the silence around him, he began to whistle Super Hero.

"Hey, Len. What're you doing?" Miku skipped up to his side.

Len shrugged. "Nothing. Just walking."

"Oh."

They walked in awkward silence for a moment.

"Hey, what's that in your pocket?" She asked, already reaching for it.

"A sack of marbles."

Miku's hand stopped mid-reach. "Ew! Len!" She screamed then ran away. "I can't believe you said that!"

"Miku..." Len said between laughs. "I have a literal sack of marbles!" He took out the bag, waving it around. "See now? Wait....Miku, come back!" He ran after her, yelling her name.
