Chapter Nine

"Well why can't it be balloons with surprise on them? You are making planning a one day event hard." Lauren said with the phone between her ear as she warm up two bottles for Eva and Ava, who was crying because they was hungry.

"Ma'am I said no surprise on balloons, that too much money, you not pay me right away." The Chinese lady said and Lauren huffed.

"Know what put newly engaged on the balloons." Lauren said and the lady hums in agreement and made the settlement over the phone and hung up she picked the crying babies up and feed them each a bottle.

"Is it almost you guys nappy time so you guys wanna get fussy?" Lauren asked the babies who looked at her while they drink their milk, they was slowly falling asleep. Lauren took the bottles from their lips and place Eva in the car seat and burped Ava and switch when Ava was burped, she looked at the clock and saw it was 3:20. She has to get Valerie and Lucas from school and go to the grocery store. She put them in the seat correctly and buckled it up then place a blanket on them she slipped on her jacket and picked up the car seats. She exited the house and made sure she locked the doors and walked to the seven seater car, she place the twins in the back seat and buckled them in and then got in her seat. Her phone began to buzz.

"Hello?"

"Hi Lauren where's Mila?" Dinah asked and Lauren place the phone on the car phone and slowly backed out of the driveway.

"She's at work, why? What happened?" Lauren asks.

"Oh because some girl called and said she miss her and she needs to know where Camila lives at and I told her where she work cause it's rude just to give out addresses but then I realized something very important about this all y'all dating." Dinah said and Lauren gripped the steering wheel till her knuckles turned white.

"I have to go Dinah, I have to get my kids from school and make a detour to Camila's office." Lauren hung up and stop in front of the school, she waited in her car till the bell rang and she stood outside the car. Valerie and Lucas came out holding hands, Valerie looks as if she was crying. They ran over to Lauren and Valerie hugged her legs.

"They make fun of me." Valerie cries as she hugs Lauren's legs. Lauren picked her up.

"Who baby?"

"That girl with the pink bow, she said that my family is such a freak family cause I have two mommies and a family doesn't supposed to have two mommies, where's my daddy?"

"Oh baby Camila and Ariana is your parents and it's okay to have two of the same parents. Not every family even have kids or some family doesn't want their kids, but your family is perfect okay so that little girl can shut her mouth cause her parents don't love her."

"Um Lolo c-can I call you my Mommy?"

"Yeah me too, can we Lolo?" Lauren pretends to think.

"Hmm okay why not since I act as your mother." Lauren shrugs and the kids cheers.

"Yes now I can finally say Mommy and Mama, our real Mom didn't want us calling her that." Lucas said and Lauren laughed.

"How about we get in the car and go get Mama and go buy groceries for the house okay?"

"Okay!" They said and got in the car, Lauren made sure they was buckled and pulled off towards Camila's job.

"Yes Ma'am, I have to go. Of course I will call back about the project, bye bye Mrs Smith." Camila hangs up the phone and see on of her ex's before Ariana in her office. "Hello Veronica."

"Hi Camila, I heard you was finally single." Veronica bites her lip and smirked at Camila.

"I'm not single."
