I took deep breaths. Not because I'm afraid of heights. But because this was the moment of truth. Okay. That, and I'm terrified of heights.
We were the first on, so we got stuck up at the top. You could see the whole carnival from up here.
Hunter looked at me a bit longingly, and I shared the same look.
