"What's your name sweetie?" Mrs. Brand asked as she turned out of the school's parking lot.
"Lexi," I said as I looked at her. She looked at Jack.
"Do you have any classes with her?" she said referring to me. He nodded and looked down at his phone.
"Where do you live?" she asked.
"I live near the library. If you go to Madeupnameokurr Road and keep going straight, I live at one of the cul de sacs at the end."
She made a turn towards the library and we were at my house about five minutes later.
"Thanks for the ride," I said as I opened the car door.
"No problem," she said waving at me. I grabbed my backpack and got out of the car. I closed the door and started to walk to my house.
Once I got inside my house my mom was sitting on the couch. She got up and looked at me.
"Where were you? My phone was dead so I couldn't call or text you for a while," she said looking angry.
I placed my detention slip in front of her and I walked to my room. I was too scared to tell her that I got another detention. I laid on my bed and opened my phone. I checked Instagram, and I got multiple notifications that I've been tagged in photos. I tapped on one of them and the caption said "Jaxi for life". I reported the post and threw my phone on the floor because I didn't feel like checking more Jaxi posts.

The weekend went by quickly and it was finally Monday. I got dressed, and and grabbed my backpack. I was in a bit of a rush because I had Chamber today. I got in my mom's car and we backed out of the driveway.
"Don't get a detention today, it seems that you've been getting a lot of them lately," my mom said.
I told her that I'd be good today, and I turned to look out my window.
Five minutes finally went by and I was at school already. I checked my phone when I put my backpack down and saw a text from Chloe V, which was surprising because she usually wakes up really late.
Chloe V: "lexi"
Chloe V: "i told my parents that I'm pregnant and I showed them the test I took."
Chloe V: "they're pulling me out of school for a week until we figure out what to do."
I looked at the clock and it said 6:39. I still had about six minutes to get my bass out
Me: "does jesus know about this yet?"
There was no reply for a minute so I decided to get my bass out. I sat down in my chair and waited for her to reply.
Chloe V: "idk how to tell him.."
I looked up at the clock and saw that it was 6:44. I put my phone away.
Why would Chloe do this? Was she not thinking?? She's so freaking stupid.
"My viola is out of tune," Akanksha said as she handed her viola to Mrs. Zalokar.
