Today is thanksgiving. I was going to hang out with the family and avoid my uncle but little did I know that Jaxon was going to show up. He came up to our front door holding a rose, in a suit. It must have been tailored because it fit him perfectly. The jacket hugged his hourglass frame and matched what I assumed were his natural curves. His pants were dress pants, with a skinny cut. They clung to his butt in a way that was almost unbearable to not stare at. He looked stunning. Jax knocked on the door and waited with the rose behind his back. I of course had already seen it but he was clearly going to surprise me with it. My mother saw him too and was already walking to the door to greet him.

"Morning Jax. How's it going." my mom said, excited to see him.

"Good, good. How about you?"

"Oh it's been a morning that's for sure. The family is all here."

"Oh. well I was going to see if Boston could come and spend the day with me, but I can go if you guys have plans..." Said Jaxon reluctantly.

"Oh honey I am not letting a boy dressed as sharp as you to walk alone off my doorstep. I'll grab him."

she then turned to motion me over and I of course stepped into the doorway. Jaxon then pulled the rose from behind his back and said, "Hey Boston! So... I was wondering if you would like to spend the day with me? maybe get lunch and stuff? I hate thanksgiving because I don't really get along with my family so I'd rather spend It with someone I like."

I glared at him and said "NO." and slammed the door in his face. I sat there for a second and looked at his face from the side window. The genuine confusion on his face made me burst into laughter. I opened the door to his eyes widening in even more confusion. "Of course you fool!" I exclaimed as I threw my arms around him.

He started to release a relieved chuckle and relaxed a little bit in my arms. I welcomed him inside for a minute to meet my family while I grabbed something fancy from my closet. The best I could come up with was a button up with some black skinny jeans. I grabbed my things and went downstairs to meet up with Jaxon again. By this point he had already acquainted himself with my grandma. They were making light conversation about the drivers in our town. I interrupted them once I felt the time was right. "I'm ready to go with you whenever you are ready Jax."

"Alright. well I guess I'll see you later then. I have to take your grandson out on a date."

"Alrighty" My grandma chuckled.

We then proceeded to leave the house. I had no idea where we were going first, nor did I really care. All I knew was that the boy of my dreams was taking me out somewhere and I was pretty freaking excited.

Jax and I walked to his car and he tried to be fancy and open my door. Too bad he tripped in the process, inducing more laughter out of me. "after y---WOAH"

I helped him up and stepped in. He ran over to his side and got into his car, which by the way, makes me super jealous. He has a black corvette. Clearly his family isn't struggling by any means. My family could probably get one too, but you know... choices. I like his car either way though because we've already made memories in it.

I've been looking for a car too, but I haven't found anything that I like. I guess I'm more of a truck guy. I have honestly been looking at rams more than I have been any car. My mom said that I can get pretty much any car on our dealer's lot, but I have to get a job to pay for half of the vehicle and also my gas.

Realizing that I got lost In thought, I glanced over at Jaxon, who was just looking at me. He broke the eye contact and started his car, grinning.

"Wanna guess where we're going?"

"Hmmmm," I said thinking, "Restaurant?"

"Ha, no" He said, smirking.

"Well then I don't want to guess. surprise me, pretty boy." I remarked flirtatiously.

"Surprise it is" he said, raising his eyebrows.

we drove to a fairly wooded area in town and pulled off onto a trail.

"we're going off into the woods?" I asked. I didn't quite understand what we were doing here.

"Well, I assume this is not what you expected." he said. "I guess you don't know that my family owns this land. My dad owns the biggest construction company in the county you know."

I looked at him with surprised eyes and said, "Your dad owns JJ's trucking and excavation? how did I not know this before?"

"You never asked... Pretty boy." he said with a flirty vibe

"So where exactly are we going?" I said, wanting to know more.

"I'm gonna show you my special spot" he replied winking

Cheeks flushed, I chuckled a little bit. I know he was joking but that could have been taken very badly. He must have noticed, because he looked at me and laughed. "Relax. I was joking. I'm going to take you to my favorite spot on this land."

We stopped after driving to a cleared lot. I got out of the car and looked around. The area we were at was kind of dingy and colorless. It was okay for the area we were in though. "This is nice..." I said, hoping I'd make him happy.

"Don't lie to me" he said while squinting at me, "This isn't even where we stop. You're gonna have to hike today boy."

"Oh. Haha" I said, blushing a little.

"It's this way, come on!" Jaxon giggled.

Me and him walked in the woods for about a half mile, maybe more and then we made it to this beautiful open clearing with a garden of exotic flowers. The light was hitting the place in a way that a heavenly aura seemed to emit from the ground. I was stunned.

"WOW, Jaxon! This place is beautiful!"

"I know. My parents made it for me when I came out. They told me, 'we won't be able to protect you from everything in life, but as long as you have this, you will always have a safe space to go to.' my dad cleared these trees himself, you know. And after I got a job and my car I started to buy some flowers and make it my fantasy place."

"Wow, you're so lucky to have parents like that. I have my guitars and stuff but I've never gotten a space like this. I do have a studio though, but you already know that."

"Thanks." he said, taking in the scenery himself. "You know you're welcome to come here whenever you want. It can be our place."

I looked at him. He looked so hopeful and at peace. I don't know how he does it every day. Wake up, know that people will judge him for who he is, and yet still go on with his life. I hope I can find that strength one day. All I know is that I finally came out to my family and that is a huge leap in and of itself.

"Thanks Jax. That means a lot. Really."
I looked at him with loving eyes.

I want this boy.
