"They've jumped to hyperspace, Grand Admiral." Thrawn looked through the windows on the bridge, able to see it for himself. "Yes captain, I can see that. Now, what are you going to do about it?"
"Grand Admiral, The Emperor is requesting an update on the pursuit of the Rebel's." Thrawn gritted his teeth, this was definitely not what he needed right now. "Very well, clear the bri-" suddenly, the Emperors face showed itself right in afront of Thrawn's. The transmission making itself ten times the size of what it was normally. Nevertheless, it was intimidating.
"Grand Admiral Thrawn," he said slowly, displeasure in his croaky voice. Thrawn straightened, nervousness beginning to itch away at him. Suddenly, he realised he wasn't kneeling, so he immediately dropped, looking down at the shiny floor, being greeted by his own reflection. "I cannot put into words how disappointed I am with your most recent failure..."
"My Emperor, I assure you, if it hadn't been for the Interdictor's destruction th-" suddenly, Thrawns body smashed against the floor, then was lifted until he was floating above the ground, level with the Emperors eye line. "I don't want excuses, Admiral, only the truth. Is that so much to ask?" My body went flying through the hologram and hit the floor on the other side with a thud.
"Alright! Yes, they got away, but I promise you. The next time we find them, we will crush them with one swift stroke." My body lifted again until it was floating in front of the Emperor. "I have grown tired of your endless games, Admiral. I gave you that rank because I believed that you were worthy of it, but now? I fear that I was... mistaken." I gulped slightly.
"One more chance, but if you do not succeed in your last encounter with the Rebels, then I will crush you with one, swift, stroke." The hologram faded as the Emperor cackled. Soon after, Thrawns body fell to the ground with another loud thud. I got up as quickly as I could, straightening my white Imperial suit. 'How embarrassing,' I thought in my mind.
Normally, I had no reason to be nervous when in the company of anybody, but even I had to admit that I was slipping in my technique... it disgusted me, to be bested by a group of Rebels. I was a Grand Admiral! It was my right to defeat them! "What are you all looking at?" I demanded around the room, seeing that the other officers were still looking at me. "Get back to you stations!" I ordered, and they all promptly returned to their respective tasks.

The door to the bridge opened, and Hera came stomping through. Holding the man called Axar by the wrist, dragging him with her. Mothma, Leia and Ackbar turned towards her. She threw the man down on the ground. He looked hurt, a slash across his face and a limp leg. "You sent him with me to kill Ezra!" Mothma put a stern look on her face. "Hera, Ezra has been with The Empire for a year now. We couldn't possibly risk you bringing him back here. The only difference then as that they were only rumours."
"I was going to save him!" Hera shouted, loud enough that the whole control hub went silent. "The purpose of this Alliance isn't only to overthrow the Empire, but to defend those who can't defend themselves, show the lost the way to go! Ezra is one of those people!" Ackbar interrupted, "He is a dangerous Force user who has been under the influence of Dark Side for far too long."
All the while, Leia stayed silent, looking down at the holodesk. "Key word; influence. If I could've gotten to him, if I could've gotten the chance to talk to him, then I stood a chance of turning him back. At least convincing him to come with me!" Silence fell over the three generals, they each looked at each other. It was then, that Hera did what Mon Mothma feared she would do the most.
"If this is what the Rebellion has become then I want no part of it." She tore the general's badge from her outfit and threw it to the floor, then stormed out of the bridge, leaving the man called Axar sprawled across the floor. "Get up, Axar," Mon Mothma ordered, and the man did as she said, scrambling to his feet. "I gave you one job to do, and you can't even handle that?" Axar looked at the ground, the smug grin wiped clean from his face. "Take this man back to his cell," she ordered, distaste in her voice. Two Rebel soldiers marched over and took the man by his wrists, dragging him out of the bridge.
"General, we're approaching the coordinates now," a Rebel Lieutenant informed her. She turned from the door to the window to see where they were going to end up. The coordinates she'd given were completely random, but were verified safe to travel to should the emergency arise. The ship fell out of hyperspace, and Mothma was greeted by a planet covered in a white sheet.
Her eyes narrowed as she inspected the surface. "Admiral, which system are we in?" Ackbar checked the holodesk, "it seems that we have arrived in the 'Hoth System,' Senator. This planet hasn't been used in centuries. There aren't any recollections of it on Imperial or Republic archives." She grinned, she had just found the next Base for the Rebel Alliance.
"Hold on, it just seems a bit too convenient," Leia added, hoping to get through to the Senator. "Surely you can understand that." Mothma turned back to face them, the whole bridge was looking at her. Time to make a decision. "Leia, even if there is the risk of Imperial attention, we need a place to set down and make repairs. Our fleet has already taken serious damage."
Leia sighed, looking down at the holodesk. "Very well," she said, not able to meet Mothma's gaze. "Bring us down, Captain," she ordered the pilot, and the entire fleet made its way to the surface of the icy planet below.

Ok, so quite a short one but from here things gonna pick up rapid (plus I think it's pretty clear that I like referencing The Last Jedi).
