Darling James,
Don’t say that. Please.
Bobby’s in heaven now and God must have had a reason. It’s not your fault, James. It’s not your fault. Hell made this happen. All we can do is pray for forgiveness, and James, you must be careful, and this war will end soon. It’ll end soon and we’ll all go back to our normal lives. Well, we will.
I spoke to Luke today. He's awake again, thank God. He was telling me about how Chelsea wanted him to train as a coach. And that Mary will have to quit and look after him. They're both being so brave. That's what war does to us, James. And I would rather we were all cowards than face this hell.
Clara's coming to take Mary's job. Jack is all right, she had a letter from him last week.
Love,
Rose xx
