To mark the 100 year anniversary of the tragic Battle of the Somme, I decided to write a historical fiction based on the events of the Battle. Although the story features real people, and many real actions, this is by no means a historical account of the Battle. I advise you do some research if you want to find out more. -Some readers may find the writing disturbing.
