"Hello old chap, how does it feel to finally be the mayor" I yell to Damien.

Damien smiled, "It feels great to finally be able to get a chance to change this town for the better."

"Don't give me your mayoral shtick! Tell me your real thoughts."

"I'm nervous, if I can be honest. I thought i was going to lose. I couldn't have done it without Mark or Y/n. They were the real reason I won the election." Damien turned and smiled down at the table.

He was beaming.

I was proud.

"Come now men, and Celine. Let us enjoy a wonderful feast made by my very own chef. No one could've made it any better." Mark, then, ushered us to the dining room where a huge feast was waiting.

It was filled with all of Damien's favorite foods.

Damien looked as though he could burst from all the joy.

After the feast, I made sure I had everything I needed.

My higher-ups wanted me to go and train some new soldiers.

Those poor men.

They don't know what they're getting into.

Damien made a quick stop to my room before I left.

"Wil, do you have to go?"

"Yes, but don't fret my friend. I'll be back in a few months time."

"I'll miss you, my friend."

"I'll miss you too Damien."

I pulled Damien into a hug.

He held onto me tightly against him.

I felt his grip loosen up.

Before I could pull away completely, he looked up at me.

I looked down at him.

He stood up on his toes and locked my lips to his.

My eyes widened.

But, I deepened the kiss.

When we finally pulled away, it was most reluctantly.

There was a knock at the door.

Damien and I pulled apart and shook hands to make it seem like we were doing normal stuff.

"Will, your cab's here." The butler said.

"Well, that's my cue. I will truly miss you, my dear friend."

"And I, you."

We kissed once more.

It didn't last as long as the last one did, but it was just as sweet.

I smiled at Damien.

I went downstairs and hugged Mark and Celine goodbye.

The butler showed me to the door.

I turned and gave one final wave to my friends.

Then left the manor.
