It Was Just A Joke!

This Is First Day Of My Life

Swear I was born right in the doorway

I see someone standing in Dark's doorframe, but he isn't here.

I went out in the rain, suddenly everything changed

No one but me was supposed to be home, I ran out  to get someone, I got soaked from the pouring rain.

They're spreading blankets on the beach

I ran back inside and was met with a familiar face.

Yours was the first face that I saw

I first noticed those recognizable e/c eyes

I think I was blind before I met you

They look around, There eyes meeting mine.

I don't know where I am, I don't know where I've been

They smiled and put There arms around my shoulders, whispering incomprehensible words in my ears.

But I know where I want to go

They pulled away and smiled up at me.

And so i thought I'd let you know

"Is it really you?" I asked, They nodded Their head.

That these things take forever, I especially am slow

I felt the tears prickling at the corners of my eyes.

But I realized that I need you 

"How did you...when did you...what?" I managed to stutter out.

And I wondered if I could come home

They pulled me to Dark's room and pointed towards the wall, it had my mirror n it and a ritual type thing underneath of it.

"I was set free Wilf. He let me go, for the sake of you." Y/n sobbed, tears pouring out of Their eyes.

Remember the time you drove all night, just to meet me in the morning

"Dark trapped you?" I asked.

I thought it was strange, you said everything changed

"Not Dark. I was trapped by an old friend with good intentions."

You felt as if you just woke up, and you said,

"This is the first day of my life. I'm glad I didn't die  before I met you. Now I don't care, I could go anywhere with you. And I'd probably be happy."

So if you wanna be with me

"I can't believe you're actually here. Now I feel like I could run away. Just taking you."

With these things there's no telling, we'll just have to wait and see

"What about your job? And the Jims? I thought you didn't want to leave them?"

But I'd rather be working for a paycheck than waiting to win the lottery

"You're right. Maybe, just maybe, I'll feel safe around Dark with you near me."

"Besides maybe this time it's different. I mean I really think you like me."

"Yeah. we'll face him together."

"Forever."
