Chapter 3: Jimin

Jimin's POV

I went home from school. When I came in, I was greeted by my mother. School just started but she's already asking if I'm doing great.

Mom:"hi jimin. Do you have any homework?... Do your best in school and remember, you have to be the top 1, okay? If you need help I can hire a tutor..."

Jimin:"no need to mom... yes mom, I'll do my best..." you lazily walked up to your room.

When you got inside, you quickly saw on your bedside table your picture with your childhood best friend. You felt so happy while remembering her. You then smiled without knowing it. You thought...

"Where is she now?... Is she okay?... Does she still remember me?..."

You then pushed those thoughts aside and went downstairs to eat. Your mom went out so you just asked some of the maid to cook your dinner.

Then you ate an early dinner and took a shower. Now you're laying on your bed, then you remembered...

○●Flashback●○

Jimin and his friend were playing around the park near his house. They were still kids at that time and they always played together. They played and laughed a lot. They are really close but jimin doesn't want her to know he has a crush on her. He thinks she will never like him.

They sat on the grass while resting. Then his friend said...

???:"jimin, my parents said that I should say goodbye now because I won't be able to see you again..." she said almost crying.

Jimin:"w-what? Stop i-it, don't joke like t-that..." then his eyes got teary.

???:"they said we will go somewhere very far from here... and that I won't be able to see you anymore..... I'll miss you jimin..." she said while sobbing.

Jimin and the girl were already crying.

Then, her mom's car stoped near them and she came to them.

??? Mom:"come on sweetie, we have to go now.... *comes closer to jimin* bye-bye jimin-ah, I'm sorry we have to go.... but don't worry, we will come back someday, so you'll wait for us, okay? I'm sorry I can't protect you from your mom anymore... but when we come back, I will, okay? Take care of yourself, I love you chim chim..." she felt a tear escaped her eye. Then she kissed his forehead and hugged him.

Even though they are not related, they both treat each other like family.

Jimjn:" I love you too auntie..." he said crying. Then kissed her cheeks and hugged her in return.

Then he faced his friend.

Jimin:"don't forget about m-me even if we grow up o-okay? I'll miss you very much... I love you..." he said while sobbing. Jimin kissed her forehead then hugged her tight.

???:"I'll miss you too jimin. Don't worry, I won't forget you... I love you too...." she said sobbing. Then she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

??? Mom:"come on now, we have to go. Bye jimin take care..."

Jimin:"bye... I love you...!"

???:"I love you too.....!"

Then the car drove away. He was still crying a bit because their leave was so sudden.

He then walked home crying silently. His parents aren't home so he went straight to his room and cried. He misses her so much. He promised himself that he'll find her someday.

He was also sad because he didn't get the chance to confess his feelings to her before she left.

Since her leave, his mom started to treat him badly and, sadly, no one can help him. His mom always told him he was useless, not good enough, a disappointment. She hits him and punishes him if he has low grades. It was too much for him. Then, he also started to think he was worthless, useless, a disappointment. He couldn't take it anymore that it came to a point where he thought of taking his life because of his mom.

At that time, he joined a gang because he wanted to rebel from his mom.

He knew it was bad hurting people but, he liked doing it, he liked the feeling he gets. Then, he slowly started feeling happy with what they do. He felt powerful and strong with them. But at some point, he slowly started to feel guilty for everything they did and he started feeling it was wrong.

He then talked to his gang to tell them everything. They all understood what he meant. He then left the gang.

After leaving the gang, he started to get to know some people better and he got to meet new friends. As time passed by, he got closer to them and he enjoyed their company a lot.

But, somehow, he still felt depressed and alone. He says to himself he doesn't know the reason why he feels like this, but, deep down, he knows the reason is because.... he misses her and he still loves her so bad.

He tried to get over her but, in the end, he still loves her no matter what happens.

Around freshman year, years have passed since she left, they've grown up a lot, and he still loves her. He miss her so much that he wanted to see her already. He needed to see her.

And at that time, his mother beat him up harder than she usually do before. Back then, his mom beats him up only when he has low grades. But now, it happens everyday. He has bruises all over his body.

He felt pain from his mom hurting him and he also felt empty from missing her so much that he was gonna take his own life. He already planned it out.

But, good thing his friends saw him before he could do anything to hurt himself.

Since then, they helped him be happy and they always treat each other like a family. He slowly became happy and started to feel better about himself.

He started to know his worth. For the first time, he felt loved because of them. Since then, he cared and loved all of them and he thanked them a lot.

But he knew, he will never forget her.

But, since then...

He started using girls to "try" to forget her, but it doesn't work.

He also used some students to get good grades. He has connections in the school staff to make his grades high and he also uses the advantage of being in a gang before to scare them to do what he wants.

He was a known player in the school, and a bully to some nerds.

But, when a student transferred there, everything changed.

He then dozed off to sleep while silently crying, remembering their memories together.
