Chapter 5: Reasons

Rosè POV

I felt sorry for lying to choon hee. I wasn't actually sick. I was going to meet up with namjoon to tell him everything.

I've had enough of choon hee being teased and I want it to end.

I was waiting for namjoon at a nearby coffee shop.

Namjoon's POV

I received a text from Rosè saying she wanted to tell me something important about choon hee. I wonder what it is...

She said to meet her at a coffee shop.

I just told choon hee I won't be going to school today.

I felt sorry I couldn't drive her to school. I'll make it up to her next time.

I was on my way to meet Rosè.

3rd Person's POV

Namjoon arrived.

Namjoon:"hey rosè..."

Rosè:"hey namjoon-ssi.... should we order first?"

Namjoon:"sure..."

After ordering, we had a little chat first.

Namjoon:"so, how are you?"

Rosè:"I'm fine, thank you for asking... you?"

Namjoon:"I'm good... thanks for asking."

Rosè:"oh, I heard choon hee invited you to our performance on friday?"

Namjoon:"yes, she did..."

Rosè:"well, are you going?"

Namjoon:"well, I couldn't say no to her..."

Rosè:"you're such a good brother.... that's why I admire you a lot..."

Namjoon:"well, thank you..." he said while blushing a little. He actually has a little crush on Rosè, but he just keeps it a crush, nothing more. He know Rosè can only treat her as an older brother.

Rosè:"that's why I wanted to tell this to you a long time ago..."

Then, our orders came.

Namjoon:"well, what would that be?" He said while sipping his drink.

Rosè:"first, I want you to keep calm and don't shout or do anything silly while I tell it to you, okay? And be open minded..."

Namjoon:"okay..."

Rosè:"choon hee.... was... always teased by students in school since she transferred..."

Namjoon:"what the--"he almost choked....

Rosè:"wait, let me finish. And also, by your friends..."

Namjoon:"the fuc--"he almost spat his drink on me....

Rosè:"yaah!!! language!"

Namjoon:"sorry... continue..." customers were looking at him. If we weren't talking about something serious, I would have laughed at him, Rosè thought.

Rosè:"I don't know why they tease her, but she told me not to tell you.... but I couldn't keep anymore because it was hard to see her hurt..."

Namjoon:"but, why didn't she tell me??? I could've helped her..." His eyes got teary, and he wanted to cry but there were people so he held it in as best as he could.

Rosè:"Because she doesn't want you and your friends to fight because of her. She was always worried that if you found out, you'll fight with your friends and you might leave them and she's afraid that you'll end up like her...."
