Waking up and knowing she will not be there still hurts but manik had accepted the fact a long time ago. It was hard and painful journey indeed. His friends of course helped him even when he directly told them leave him alone. It was no suprise to manik when out of the blue mukti came to him and ask him to let her be his PS. What he was more suprised of was the fact she is still there handling him when most of the time he is unpredictable.

yeh jaana hai , khushi hai kya , gumm kya, dono hi, do pal ki hai ruttein , na yeh thehre na rukey zindagi do rangon se bane , ab roothe ab mane , yehi toh hai , yehi toh hai , yahaan.

Slowly getting up from bed making his way towards bathroom he abesentmindly cares his photo wall and make his way inside. After completing his daily chores he went towards closet to get dressed for the day.
Just when he was wearing his overcoat, a knock came up.

Perfect timing he whispered to himself
Without waiting for his reply mukti barge into the room while looking at her ipad, specs on , formal wear, the perfect geeky look according to her just to look serious in office.
She continuously blabring his "today's schedule" and he was standing there like any other day not finding something amusing in it.

Mukti let's countinue this over breakfast he intrupted and she replied him with a nod, and they walked towards his breakfast bar. Usually mukti have her breakfast with abhi but Friday's are always with manik. Manik don't really feel hungry in the morning but getting a reminder text from his brother he eats it for the sake of mukti's health.
They were eating there usuals while mukti was briefing him about the meeting's that gonna held today.

They quickly finished there breakfast and made their way to elevator. His CPO following them like a shadow still mataining the distance. Manik suddenly remembered something , waving away mukti and aiden (CPO) he quickly make his way upstairs to his bedroom.
Sorry he wispered to nobody in person. Standing across his photowall , a gentle smile make way on his lips also its the first time his eyes soften from the entire morning. Just looking at her make his heart flutter. He went to his cupboard and retrieved a small box.
Happy birthday nand... umm nono. Sorry to forget but see I bought you something (a personalised watch which have nono engraved as a background). Be happy nandini wherever you are. I miss you with this he placed the box on nightstand and came out getting down through lift. After her marriage manik broke all the contacts with nandini, never in all these 5 years he tried to see her .. search for her . on that day he just didn't lose his only chance to fall in love but a best friend also. she was not just any other girl for manik he never felt so special being with anyone, as now she is gone ... so the feeling did. manik closed off everyone in these years the talktime with his father became less. The persons who stick through were his friends and of course music. After a failing startup he worked harder and bring out the best company at a young age. he handled work and music pretty well. making FAB5 one of the most famous band internationally.

Manik would have stayed at Malhotra masion but after all this time the place kind of creeped him out. So he bought this penthouse in main city of Mumbai , also cause his office was in city and mansion was in outskirts. Coming out of his building they quickly get settled in manik's SUV. Mukti gave a quick understanding squeeze to his hand and they drove off with aiden driving the car.

Reaching office mukti and him departed their ways. While getting to his floor he nod at everyone who wished him a good morning. He departs to the personal elevator, swiping the card and entering the password he entered inside. The lift stopped at his floor which only consist his and mukti's cabin. Making his way inside he caught up in paper work, exactly after two hours he extend his hand for coffee mug which was placed by mukti a min ago. A ghost smile crept on his , mukti knows him inside out. after a while mukti called him for the meeting they were discussing in the morning.

After the meeting manik was getting briefed about a new venture when aiden came announcing cabir's arrival.He asked him about mukti to which he said she has gone for a quick lunch with Abhimanyu, (as abhi's office was nearby it became handy for both of them to balance work and love life ). manik quickly dismisses the other guy and led cabir in.

Don't you have any work cabir asked manik . bro work toh bohot hai but I was just coming back from droping Aliya and dhruv and just thought to pick some mac for you, waise mukti kahan hai.

just gone quick lunch with abhi and yeah even I am hungry. They chatted for a while, on his way back cabir smugly duck his head in manik's cabin ... manik can I take your CPO for a date to which manik shook his head and replied I was thinking why you showed up here I knew u guys were fooling around and yes u can. to which cabir laughed and winked at aiden who was standing outside.

It was 6 in the evening, mukti came to manik while he was typing a quick email to his client.

manik make sure u bring all the files from home , I have already briefed u with the upcoming meetings , make sure to check your emails handle them properly, also don't miss out on your food and keep ur anger in control .... and so on she recited all the things she is being repeating from last three days as mukti and others are going for a concert in LONDON , whereas all are going for a early manik have to stay back for some work and he will be joining them later on.

Mukti has made a whole three day schedule for him , he was expected to all the board meetings and have lot of paper work to complete before leaving while mukti was reciting her lines he tried to listen intendly. muku calm down yr and don't worry I will handle it u go enjoy yourself warna abhi will kill me for stealing your small vacation he said making a scared face to which mukti smiled sheepishly knowing her hubby. manik tu bhi chalta na she said demandingly knowing her job hours are over and she can be his friend again. and so they chatted for a while after mukti left to wrap her work, as a routine abhi will there soon to pick her up.and manik resume his work, manik usually work till late not because he have but there is no one particular waiting for him at home. His all friends are almost settled and they became tried of manofying him to get settled.

on her way back mukti stopped by manik's cabin a packet which was specially requested to hand over to him.

mu: manik this has came for u just take a look at it and I am leaving,just gave me a call if u need anything ok to which he noded ,took the parcel from her and wave her off .

While he looked at the parcel curiously ripped it open , only to find a letter and dairy inside...

manik,

I know this seem unusual , but its urgent .. I cant explain much through this ... I don't even know if letter will reach you or not whats important for u to know is she need you , your nono needs you . tell her I loved her but maybe it was not destine to be. I am dying manik and the last thing I want is you with her when she sees my coffin and when they lower it to ground. the only mistake I done in my life was leaving when needs me . I know you love her ... help her manik be with her .

To say that manik was shocked will be underestimating his feeling. he don't know how to react how to look after situation . what he will do now .. many questions were rising in his mind but one he was sure of that his nono needs him and he will be there for her as promised ... humesha.
