Parenting 101

I woke up to the sounds of dishes falling somewhere downstairs. I nudge Jake to wake him. What in the hell is going on downstairs. I'm concerned so when Jake wakes up I make him scope it out, and I make him go fast. I know the girls would cry if they didn't recognize someone, but I don't feel at ease with their room downstairs all alone.

When Jake didn't yell up that everything was alright I slowly made my way downstairs. I crept down the stairs and looked to the kitchen to see Tony holding Nova while cooking something, and Jake picking up Naomi while Tessa picked up the dropped pots. "Hey guys, I got nervous, I forgot you were still here."

"Hi E what do you want for breakfast?" Tessa smiled and it was contagious, making me lose all my worries.

"What are you making?"

"Whatever you want." We both laughed and just settled on smoothies and egg whites with spinach.

"I didn't get to properly say good morning to you," Jake came over and kissed me passionately.

"Well now I guess you have, how did y'all sleep last night?" I say turning to Tessa and Anthony.

"Amazing, I wish it were like the old times and we could all just live together again," Tony said reminiscing.

"Here let me take Nova, you're cooking, she must be getting in the way," I said trying to be helpful.

"I actually don't mind, plus I need to get used to this, the dad life doesn't come easy."

Tessa asked if I would go with her today to her doctor's appointment, so Tessa and I took the Tesla downtown to the Doctors's office and left the girls with Jake and Anthony.

"God I remember coming here, I even made you come with me." I reminisced on when I first found out I was having the girls, Tessa was my wing woman back then, so I'll be hers now. "I am actually trying to have another baby with Jake, I'm not too sure if we are ready right now though."

"Oh I'm sure you guys are ready," Tessa was always so optimistic, "if you two could handle the twins, you can handle another one."

"See I feel ready, but if we do, I would want to move back to the mansion." (New T10 House)

"Why?"

"Well we have room in the house we are in now, but with only one guest bedroom it just doesn't make sense, I never understood why we left anyways. Plus the family we sold it to actually just put it back on the market, I've been keeping tabs." I really miss the old house and all the room.

"Honestly E, I think you guys should move back, Anthony and I were actually considering a house just 3 houses down from there. "

"I think I will talk to Jake, though I'm sure he wont be happy."

"E, he will be happy if it's for the best and it makes everyone happy, that's the type of man he is."

"I hope so." With that Dr. Reisch called Tessa's name and we made our way back to the ultrasound room.

"Erika! What a pleasure to see you back here!" Dr. Reisch was my doctor as well, I'm sure Tessa just remembered that from when she came with me. "Now Tessa, let's see how we are doing, it's going to be a bit cold."

After 20 minutes of Tessa and I staring at the little nugget floating around her stomach, the doctor told us she was about 6 weeks along. Tessa took the sonogram picture and we headed back to the car.

"That's so exciting! Are you going to find out the gender?" I was super excited for them.

"Actually I was wondering if you would find out and plan us a gender reveal party?"

"Uhm, is that even a question? Of course I will I would be honored to!"

Tessa and I got back to the house and saw the boys carrying the babies in their chest-pack carriers. They were running all around the house and it just made me want to move even more.

"Jake, can we talk for a minute, I just want to ask you a few things." I motioned for him to come outside. Tessa took Nova and we headed out the door. "What would you think about moving back into our old house? The mansion, with the girls?"

"Rik, someone lives there. It's not our home anymore. "

"Actually baby, they just put it back up for sale, and it would be great for us and the girls and the extra bedrooms would be great for any new additions we may have or just for the family!"

"We can talk about it, it could be a good idea, we will figure it out, I promise." Jake kissed me and grabbed my hand leading me back inside.
