Chapter Eighteen

"Alright, turn... turn... turn... turn..." she fell to a quick pause squinting her eyes and snapped them open, "okay next," she clapped.

"How many do we have to go through?" I asked releasing the hand off my hip.

"Just a few," she smirked glancing around the store.

"But I just got shoes," I protested, "isn't that shopping?" I asked stepping back into the change room.

I slipped the stringing suit form my shoulders lifted it above my head. "Not the way you do it," she informed and pulled the next suit over. "Did you change yet?" I striped  the underwear-like pants off and to the other matching set and opened the door. Her eyes widened and she clapped, "Ooow! I like that!" she praise, waltzing around me.

I muzzled a cough between my elbow, "okay," I wheezed, turning into the stall.

"Alright just a few more dozen and I'll be impressed," she called through the closed door. I picked up a tangy yellow bikini top with the Daisy Disney character's head coming across the left chest piece.

"How is everything going?" another voice responded outside the stall and I stepped out.

Both their eyes landed on me, raising a brow. "I don't think Disney suits you all that well..." Marissa said, moving towards me. She circled past and into the dressing room; pulling out a few suits. A brief glance of Minnie at the top in red. "Alright there shouldn't be too many left now," she sighed turning to the woman, "here, these aren't going to work," and the woman nodded. "Go in and try the rest, " she instructed.

I swiped the curtain behind and removed the Daisy costume, sticking my hand into the pile and pulled a rosy red two piece. The bottom a plain string-tie rouge while roses the sized of apricots bunched over the strapless breast cups. Huh. Clipping the back and heaving up the bottom, I drew the curtain, stepping out. "Goodness you sure suit that well," the woman admired and I lifted my thoughts to Marissa.

Her knuckle indented her chin as it sat there staring. The focused and determined eye she shared in silence, "Lemme see the butt," she broke whisking her fingers and I turned. "Okay, we'll buy that too but still try on what ever's left in there," and moved into the stall. Hanging it on the hook across the way, I picked up the last suit; another strapless costume. It was a bleach white with half inch ruffles falling from the top piece and plain again on the bottom. I slid the the ruffles over my head and the bottoms walking out; breaking the conversation between the two girls; Marissa's face broke, stretching emotions of hate and joy. "Okay. That's it. That's the one. Right there. We are done. Leaving." she complied waging her finger at me. The woman next to her smiled politely nodding.
A notice catch my ear, my head itched to the store front. Catching the slight movement of a bathing suit rack smoothly rolling to an almost incomprehensible stop. My feet consciously moved toward it; a figure in a grey hoody jerked about in streets, their hands clung to the edges of their hood. A light glared down on my left eye, a sudden alarm began blaring as the figure dashed into a side street. Weird.

"Ryan!" Marissa called from further in the store, "We haven't paid!"

I huffed a breath, glancing back to the deserted tail, burying my face in my hands. "Oh my god... what am I doing?" I questioned, "I just stalked Ryan and Marissa the entire day... what have I become?" I sighed heaving another breath to settle the raging beat within my chest. Though that last bit might have been worth it.

"Liam!"

I rose m head glance to a figure coming short in the distance, "huh?" I squinted, the lad coming closer as they sprinted near. "Lou?" I called back. He charged towards me thrusting me back, my foot caught the heaving weight. "Lou!? What are you ding here?"
