Joanna woke up in a cold sweat. It was 12:00 at night, and she had a horrible dream. She sighed and tried to forget but it was no use. A man in a dark grey robe was kidnapping children and turning them into haggis. It felt so...real. She decided to try and shake it off with a midnight sandwich. Joanna lived in a 2 story house that her parents got for their research. They were big botanists and she knew they loved their jobs as much as they loved her. She went down the stairs and almost tripped over one of her little brother's dinosaurs. She always hated those things. She got down and sure enough, her parents fell asleep on the couch again. She smiled to herself and pulled a blanket over their heads. Suddenly she a thump upstairs and her little brother screamed. She panicked and ran upstairs to her brothers room. Everything seemed normal at first glance until she looked around. He wasn't in his bed and the window was open. That's when she noticed something horrifying. Her brothers blanket that he took everywhere was lodged in the closet as if he ran in there in a hurry. She opened the door and found her brother crying. "Ba-bad man." He said in a small terrified voice, "It's okay, I'm here." She said. Then he looked over her shoulder at something behind her and a shadow covered his face. Suddenly she felt searing pain in her stomach. She screamed in agony as she saw the tip of a machete through her stomach. She turned around in last time to see her killer. He was wearing a skin tight minion costume which made the situation even more terrifying. He was also beefy and had a meat grinder but she didn't mind that. He raised his knife. She closed her eyes.
