Chapter 7

Jordan Devine's POV

We started to walk to the car. I was walking in front of Niall not saying anything. My arms were crossed as I made my way back down the stone path to the car. It was dark outside and I had no light with me so it was hard to see where I was going. But as long as I continued to hear the sound of my shoes hitting the stones, I knew I was on the path. Soon the silence of everything around us was interupted by a clash of loud thunder that felt like it shook the ground. The sky was lit up by a bright streak of lightning speeding across the dark sky. Then the rain started to fall quickly, making me covered in water in a matter of seconds.

'Great'  I thought to myself. I paused for a moment, but decided to keep on walking forward so Niall wouldn't catch up to me. Soon I made it to the car and Niall soon followed with the keys. He unlocked my door and opened it for me to let me in, the lights on the inside lit up and the door opened letting me see his face clearly. I just rolled my eyes to make it seem like I was annoyed with the gesture. He looked down at the ground and walked over to his side of the car before I even was fully in the car. Soon I heard his door open and shortly after, close. I finallly stepped into the passenger side of the car and slammed my door shut behind me. He started the car and begain to drive back the way we came. I looked out my side window the whole time. Soon enough you could start to see the lights coming from the huge city ahead of us.

Once we pulled into the driveway of the large house, I got out of the car as fast as possible. Luckily the rain had started to slow on the way home and was now not falling at the fast pace it was going at earlier. As soon as I started to reach for the door handle, the door flew open to reveal Josh waiting on the other side.

"How was it?" He asked, but I completely ignored his question as shoved passed him. I started to run up the stairs to my room.

"Jordan!" Josh yelled behind from behind me. But I ignored him. By the time I reached the top step, I couldn't handle it anymore. The tears has started to fall down my face. I turned the corner and ran straight into somebody. I looked up to see the evil smirk of Harry. Of course it had to be him.

"Have you done your job yet?"

"Yeah. I have. I hope you're freaking happy. Because it's offical. You've got what you've always wanted. To ruin my life. Good job Harry. Well done." I said sarcastically. He just smiled at me. I started to hear footsteps running up the stairs, I'm guessing they were Josh's. I pushed Harry out of my way and continued to run to my room. As I closed the door I heard Josh's voice.

"Did you see Jordan?"

"She ran into her room crying. What's wrong with her?"

"I'm about to find out." Josh said. Ii heard his footsteps as he started making his way toward my room. I ran over to my closet and grabbed one of my suitcases from the top shelf and took it ovedr to my bed. By then Josh had started to knock on my door. I went back over to my closet and grabbed several hangers full of clothes. Josh continued to knock on my door.

"Go away Josh!" He have up on knocking and just opened my door.

"Jordan! What is your problem? And why are you packing?" He yelled as I continued to go back to my closet for more clothes. I ignored him again and grabbed more clothes.

"Jordan! Answer me!" I ignored him once again. I set the new stack of clothes on my bed and continued going back to get more stuff. When he finally got tired of me not answering him, he came and blocked me fron exiting the closet again.

"Jordan!"

"What Josh?!"

"What is wrong with you?"
