Chapter 2: Training

Eli's POV

I couldn't believe it. Ashley agreed to work for Blakk. Surprisingly, the guards let us go. Ashley asked Blakk if they could have some time alone. He said yes and everyone except the rest of the Shane Gang, Ashley and I. I asked,

"Ashley, why?" she responded,

"I couldn't let you all die because of something I don't want to do. I already lost my parents because of that slug corrupting bitch.I don't want that to happen to you all. I don't wanna lose all of you. You 5 are everything to me and if he harms you guys, I'll never forgive myself.I'm sorry Eli...." she hugged me, sobbing. I hugged her back.

Leo's POV

I listened to Ashley's every word. A tear slid down my cheek. She worked for the guy who murdered both of her parents in front of her eyes just to save us. I wiped the tear with my sleeve. Great. I'm crying. Can this day get any worse? We all hugged her. Ashley bid us goodbye and gave Inferno to me.

"Take good care of him for me, Leo."She told me. I nodded. She gave us one last hug and left. We went home. Eli was too devastated to talk. He just went to his room. To be specific, everyone didn't wanna talk. Even me. Inferno was crying. All the top slugs were crying, even Hover, my Hoverbug. I was trying to make a plan in my head to break her out.

Ashley's POV

I feel so bad for working for the enemy. But I needed to do what I had to do to save Eli and the rest of the Shane Gang. I already got a room and ghouls. They gave ne a stabilizer so I could be around ghouls and keep my power strong. I was in my new room, looking at a picture of the whole Shane Gang. Pronto, me, Kord, Leo, Trixie. Finally, my eyes were set on Eli. A flashback started.

Don't take my daughter!

I won't.*shoots Goon Doc at me*

*jumps in front of Ashley*

DAD!!! NO!!

I snapped back to reality. Tears welled up in my eyes. Eli was like a father to me. He cared about me more than anybody else, even Leo and Trixie. I stared at the picture of Eli. I started to cry. I heard a knock on the door. I asked,

"Who and what?" The voice replied,

"Blakk has a message for you and it's Twist." I went to wash my face, then opened the door. Twist told me,

"You start training tomorrow. You're Blakk's trainee, like me." I nodded. I was about to close the door when Twist asked,

"Were you crying?" I asked,

"Why do you even care?" He replied,

"I can see you were crying. It's just a gang. Deal with it." I growled at him. He took a step back.

"Whoa, chill! Sorry, ok?" I calmed down and told him,

"They're everything to me. I only agreed to work for Blakk because I couldn't let him kill them like he did to my parents when I was 3 and 6. In my heart, he's a slug corrupting piece of shit." I closed the door.

Twist's POV

Blakk killed her parents when she was 3 and 6 years old? Now that was cruel. I only agreed to work for Blakk so I won't get my ass in the Deep Caverns. I secretly thought him as evil. Now I see why she has a vendetta against Blakk. I'll hate the guy who killed my dad. And that happened to be Will Shane. Huh. Looks like we have something in common. Whatever.

The next day....

Ashley's POV

I woke up at 6:30am and got ready for training. I didn't need it but I needed to get my mind off of things. I was there just in time. Blakk and I dueled. He shot multiple ghouls at me. I dodged them all with ease. He was starting to get angry. He took a table and threw it at me. I dodged and shot him with a Grimmstone. I couldn't help but laugh.  He became from plain angry to pure fury. I dodged all of his attacks. He shot a Thrasher at me, which I dodged by changing my position to stand sideways. I taunted,
