Chapter 1:Slug hunt went wrong

Ashley's POV

I was with Eli at Bullseye Cavern. I was stressed out lately because of my powers so he wanted me to relax.

"Don't worry about your powers for a while, k? Now, you up for a slug hunt?" I eagerly nodded. I loved slug hunts. The part I loved most was when I found the cute little guys. We hunted for slugs. I found a Hexlet. It seemed happy to see me, cause ot hopped towards me. I held out a hand and he jumped on my hand. I asked him,

"You wanna join my arsenal? I'm a Shadow, so you're gonna be up for a life of adventure and fighting crime." It replied in it's cute little slug language,

"Yes! Yes! Being in your arsenal is a dream come true!!" I chuckled and called him Lucky. Inferno showed him to my backpack. They hopped in. Inferno loves to chat with new slugs. I found a Fandago. She seemed scared of me at first. I told him,

"Aw, don't be scared little guy. I won't hurt you. I'm Ashley Shadow, you know. So if you wanna come with me, you're up for a life of adventure!" She hopped on my palm. I named her Energy. She hopped into my backpack. I was finding Eli when I saw him being ambushed by a few of Blakk's goons and Twist. I went to help him. I knocked out 3 of his goons when suddenly I felt someone hit my head and all consciousness slipped away from me.

Eli's POV

I was taking out the goons 2 by 2 when I saw Twist running to his mecha with Ashley in his arms. I fired all the slugs I had at him, but he dodged everyone. OH FUCK. Ashley being captured by Twist is a bad thing. Her slugs hopped to me. I ran to my mecha beast and put her mecha on pilot. I set Ashley's mecha on autopilot and sent it home with her slugs on it. I got my slugs and Inferno.We headed to Blakk's citadel. I called Trixie.

"Hello?"

"Trix, get the gang to Blakk's citadel. Ashley's kidnapped by Twist. I sent Ash's mecha home on autopilot with her slugs."

"We'll be there, E." She hung up. I rode my mecha as fast as I could to Blakk's citadel.

Leo's POV

I was in the living room of the Shane hideout playing video games with Kord. Suddenly, Trixie shouted,

"Guys,Ashley's captured in Blakk's citadel! We gotta move!" I quickly grabbed my blaster and my slugs. I hopped on my E-7(eagle) mecha and rode in the direction of Blakk's citadel. The gang followed. We arrived there just a minute after Eli. We hid our mechas and snuck into Blakk's citadel.

Twist's POV

I had Ashley Shadow. I bet Eli Shane was going bonkers by now. I smiled at the thought. The girl hasn't woke up yet. Blakk suggested I deal with her, since I was "about her age." I needed to get her to work for Blakk. She came to.

"Argh, my head."She muttered as she woke up. She looked around and saw me. She grabbed her blaster but her slugs had run away while I got her, so she was unarmed.

"I see you're awake. Good for you." I told her. She growled at me.

"Where are my slugs?!" She asked. I replied,

"Hopped away. Can we just have a little talk?" She made an attempt to punch me. I dodged. Man she was fast. I shot her with a Attacknet. She dodged. She told me,

"We can talk if you toss the blaster first." I frowned, but tossed it anyway. I informed her,

"Blakk offers you a job oprtunnity. If you don't accept-"Before I could continue, the Shane Gang stormed in.

Ashley's POV

E! Phew. Eli threw Inferno at me and I caught him. Trixie tackled Twist and we all aimed our blasters at him. Blakk and his guards came in and grabbed Eli, Trixie, Kord, Pronto and Leo.

They held knives to their necks. Twist stood up and asked,

" If u say no, knife goes through their necks, say yes and they go, unharmed. What's it gonna be?" Eli told me,

"Don't work for him, Ash. We can handle ourselves." My mind flashed back to the time when my dad was murdered. I couldn't let that happen to Eli and the rest of the Shane Gang. Not even Pronto. I put my hands up and replied,

"Ok, you win. Don't hurt the Shane Gang."
