ASH'S POV:

"I hate you," I hissed.

Zayn just smiled back innocently.

Louis nudged me in the side and mouthed, "Make a run for it."

I nodded determinedly.

"Let's go!" I yelled and ran for the doors, Louis hot on my heels. Zayn didn't bother to stop us, just sat there watching us with a smug smirk.

The doors swung open and before I could stop, I crashed into something REALLY hard.

Louis crashed into my back and huffed.

"What the heck, Ash?" he said, annoyed.

I looked up and my mouth formed a little o of horror.

""Busted," sang Zayn.

Standing in front of me was a wall of people, namely Anam (she stands little chance against me!), Harry (ha, as if), Niall (just have to mention Nando's to get him out of the way), Liam (Ooh, scary face...) and *gulps* Paul.

I tried to run in the opposite direction but restraining hands caught my wrist. It was Liam. And with his other hand he grabbed Louis by the scruff of his collar.

"May I ask what are you guys doing here after curfew?" he asked in a deadly calm voice.

"Swimming!" I blurted out. At the same time Louis said, "Hiking!"

I shot him a look that said "really? Hiking?"

His answering look said 'Excuse me, but do you see a, I don't know, a POOL in this kitchen?'

he got me there. But in my defense it was the spur of the moment thinking.

"Well?" said Liam, cocking an eyebrow, looking so much like a scary parent.

We just hung our heads.

"Take away their carrots," ordered Paul. "They were clearly forbidden to have no carrots for a week and they have broken the rule!"

I glared at him.

So, yeah... I and Louis were grounded. I had no idea why. I bet it had something to do with the fact that we had 'accidentally' spilled green dye in the hotel's swimming pool. The end result? Everyone in there got green hair. It was epic!

So we were grounded, had curfew, forbidden from eating carrots... yadda yadda yadda... the ususal.

I glowered as Niall and Anam emptied my pockets while Harry and Liam emptied Louis'.

Finally, they were done!

"Are these all?" asked Paul, looking down at the hugepile of mouth-watering carrots.

"Wait a second..." said Anam and she stared at me curiously. I tried my best to kepp my poker face. But she has the freaky power to see through my poker face.

She gasped and advanced towards me.

Her hand dived into my pocket and brought out the flashlight. She hit her palm on it and a secret compartment opened. A luscious carrot dropped into her hand.

Yeah... My flashlight has a secret compartment.

What can I say? I'm an awesome carrot ninja!

She smiled smugly at me. "Haha, lookie what I got here!" And she threw the carrot on top of the pile.

I stuck out my tongue at her and crossed my arms over my chest.
