The little boy cannot be more than just five years old and is just standing there looking forlornly at us, as though he has already accepted his fate from the gang of armed teenagers standing behind him. My blood begins to boil because if there is something I absolutely cannot stand, it is when innocent people are used in situations like this. Narrowing my eyes, I shift my aim to the heart of the tall boy holding the gun to the back of the boy's head.

Noticing my movement, the other teenagers move to shift their aim onto me and allowing me to deduce that I have placed my aim on their ringleader. The atmosphere in the room is tense, our eyes darting back and forth vigilantly to survey the situation.

"What do you want?" Jenny speaks with authority, refusing to cower in front of a bunch of teenagers who believe they can overpower us.

"Why should we tell you when it's more fun to let you guess," the ringleader dares to smirk at her and it cues a flurry of gunshots flying from the gang towards us. On instinct, I duck under the marble table to avoid the shots and instantly poke my pistol out and begin firing at an angle slightly higher than I would have, just to ensure that I don't hit the little boy instead.

Out of the corner of my eye I can see that Kaden and Lila have taken refuge behind the tall bookshelf at the back of the room and are firing accurately straight into the hearts of those who have dared venture into our territory. We would have liked to prevent as many deaths as possible but they have provoked us and show no signs of stopping, so we concentrate on taking out the boys one by one until only the ringleader and the little boy remain standing.

At some point during the crossfire, Daniel and Jenny have inched forward, managing to pull the little boy safely out of the grip of the ringleader and into our side. Petrified, he clings to Daniel's trousers from the back and we smirk at the ringleader when he discovers his gun has run out of bullet and stares at us in horror.

All of us except Daniel, who is protecting the little boy, inch forward and surround the ringleader, with intentions of tying him up and getting information out of him. Unfortunately the ringleader has no intentions of backing down and brandishes a knife from his pants at us. Jenny and I make eye contact and in the count of three we simultaneously move into action, with me backflipping to kick the knife out of his hands and taking advantage of the element of surprise,Jenny immediately ties him up with a string of rope she had retrieved from the hidden drawer in the table.

Even though the culprit has been tied up, Kaden and Lila keep their weapons aimed at him just to be safe and fearlessly, he smirks, "I see you have fallen into our trap."
