"Yeah. They keep saying I'm never good enough for anyone." mumbled Jimin. "The voices have been haunting me for months now and they're only getting worse. I'll never be sane." Jimin's voice shook as he began to sob into Yoongi's shoulder once again.
"Hush. You know that's not true." Yoongi whispered softly. "You are perfect to me."
"You always say that." Jimin pouted.
"Well it's the truth Sunshine." They stayed silent after their little exchange as Jimin began to drift off, warm in the older's arms.
Yoongi studied Jimin's sleeping face, his long fingers lightly brushing away his drying tears. His lips were red from biting them to keep from crying when he walked home everyday. His soft, dirty blond hair was tousled and sticking up in the back. Jimin whined in his sleep, his tortuous dreams becoming apparent. Yoongi only pulled him closer.
Yoongi opened his eyes to his phone vibrating in his pocket.
"I have to go to work Jimin." Yoongi whispered to the still sleeping boy as struggled to free his arm. He pulled the blanket back over Jimin's body and rose to leave, leaving a note for him to read. "Sleep well Sunshine," said Yoongi as he opened the door. "I love you."
