"Mitchell! Please join us in the living area downstairs!" Mitch's mother called.

Mitch rolled his eyes and sat up. "Yes, Mother!" he called back.

His feet shuffled down the grand stairwell, smoothing his hair down and adjusting his collar before walking to where his mother was sitting.

"Yes Mother?" he asked, giving her the best "I care" face he could.

"Mitchell, this is the daughter of another kingdom, Michelle." his mother mentioned, motioning to the girl in the seat across from his.

Mitch sat down and crossed his legs, holding out a firm hand to the girl across from him.

"How do you do?" he spoke, shaking her hand and placing a dainty kiss on her middle knuckle.

"I'm quite well, thank you for asking." She replied.

"Well..you two make fancy while I discuss with Michelle's father about possibly arranging a marriage."

Mitch glared at his mother. Marriage?? The thought of marrying a woman left an uncertain and rather unpleasant taste in his mouth.

"Take her to the garden, would you?" his mother asked, earning a curt nod from Mitch.

"Your mother seems quite nice." Michelle said once they reached a bench by the fountain.

"She is. A maiden, as my father says." Mitch added, sitting and patting the seat next to him.

"I am quite excited for our marriage." she spoke, smiling at him.

He licked his lips and nodded.

She began to talk along the lines of the garden, something about the layout and the great choice of flowers. But Mitch wasn't listening.

The only thing he could think about was getting out of this situation. There was no way he was going through an arranged marriage.

"Michelle, darling! Let's go!"

"Oh dear. That's my father. Goodbye Mitchell."

He waved and silently cringed. It's Mitch.

He walked through the thistle and found his way back to the bush and over the wall.

He feet carried him back to Royal Russell, and inside the building he went.

Scott slipped his backpack over his shoulder as he walked with Oliver back to Royal Russell.

"I believe you should become friends..if you see him again of course. Think about how great that would be." Oliver babbled on and on.

"Oli..I bumped into him once. The likeness of it occuring again is little to none."

He opened the door and bumped into an all too familiar slender frame.

"Are you kidding me?" Scott questioned, getting up and helping Mitch us as well.

"Hello again." Mitch said, dusting himself off.

"What did I tell you?" Oliver told Scott, smiling.

"What can I do for you, Prince Mitchell" Scott asked, doing a half hearty bow and rolling his eyes.

"Do not call me that. It's disgustingly formal. Please, call me Mitch" He said, ushering Scott away from the doors.

Oliver said his goodbye and headed back in, while Mitch dragged Scott back to the garden wall and hustled him over.

"Wow," Scott awed. "This is..majestic."

Mitch nodded. "I need you to get me out of a marriage".

Scott blinked at him, hummed something low, and attempted to climb the wall to get out.

"No!" Mitch pulled him back in with force, making Scott fall into him. Scott rolled off of him and sat up.

"You want me to help you..get out..of a marriage?" Scott inquired, scratching his head.

"Yes, terribly so. My mother has arrange for me to marry a girl named Michelle, but I wish nothing of the sort. I..can you just help me?" Mitch ranted, taking a deep breath afterwards.

Scott almost said no..almost. But the plea and sound of desperation in Mitch's voice made him cave.

"I know nothing about anything that has to do with marriage or..getting out of them, but I can try. Just need to watch more T.V.." Scott assured, half smiling.

Mitch flung into him and grinned wide.

"Thank you so very much". He pulled away and coughed to transition out of the awkward.

"But, you gotta do something for me" Scott smirked.

"That was not a part of the agreement." Mitch threw up his nose again.

"Well now it is. You gotta chill with me." Scott poked Mitch's nose.

"I suppose I could withstand that."

"Good." Scott stood and held his hand out, to Mitch gratefully took.

"See ya, Prince." Scott slugged his backpack over the garden wall and climbed promptly over after it.

Mitch rushed back inside and returned to his room, where Wade was waiting for him.

"I heard of the marriage." Wade spoke.

"Dreadful isn't it?"

"Quite, but I have a solution" Mitch smiled, clapping.

"What might that be?" Wade questioned.

"The boy I met. He shall help me."

"Mitch..I don't believe that's a good idea."

"I know. But I do not wish to marry Michelle."

Wade nodded, ending the conversation, and returning to his duties outside.
